  • Such a great experience

"My first time to Island Park/Yellowstone and staying at the Lost River Retreat was a perfect fit. This was a trip/family reunion, 8 adults and 7 children. Never did we feel like there wasn’t plenty of room. Kitchen space is great, beds are really nice and comfortable, common spaces are really big, the wrap around porch/grandchildren race track is large and has a great view from any point, bathrooms are large. The whole cabin is well equipped from kitchen needs, extra bedding, very nice towel’s, washer and dryer, hair dryer, TV’s , DVD/VHS & cable, foosball & hockey games, & outdoor grill. Garage is spacious and has two picnic tables for deck dinning. There is a fire pit and hot tub but we just didn’t get time to use them .. but I will say the hot tub looked well maintained and very nice. Our family loved the time we spent here .. the view of the stars is amazing. Would recommend this property to anyone planning to stay in the area. Management and owners are great to work with … this was an overall really nice experience. Having to take your garbage to the dump each day was no big deal, easy, and the staff there even were pleasant. The only thing I would have liked to see/have had was dressers in each room. But not having them, living out of suitcases was not terrible, closets are huge. I can say without hesitation the thing I disliked most is that we couldn’t stay longer!"

  • Good size house for our family!!!

"This house is tucked away a bit in the hills, but still close to town. Fletcher is great to work with, as he helped with every need or issue we had. There were noticeable cobwebs hanging and I took a broom and took care of it, but I did tell Fletcher so he could bring it up to the cleaners.. The view on the over sized porch is great!! While there, my husband took a little nature walk on the trail that is there.. In the evening, there were thunder storms, but nothing big at all and It was nice as the house sits upon a hill and we could see it. I think the only thing I would suggest is an SUV is needed. Once you get off the dirt road it turns into a rocky driveway.. But don't let that scare you at all, as most of the roads there are dirt ones.. Thanks Fletcher, we had a great time.."

  • Comfortable, cozy, convenient and charming...all built into one cabin...,GREAT!!!

"Spending two weeks in this wonderful setting wasn't enough, so we booked three weeks for next summer. We highly recommend this property if you want all the conveniences of home, plus exquisite surroundings. Close to Jackson, the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Relax is a comfortable hot tub after a busy day of skiing, hiking, biking or just sightseeing. Can't say enough about hosts Amber and Bryan."

  • Perfect for Us!

"This property was perfectly located for town and skiing. It was impeccably clean and the complex is quiet. The owner is very responsive. Couldn't really ask for more!"
