  • Amazing spot!

"We had a wonderful time at this lodge - sitting on the porch admiring the view, bottle-feeding milk to the calves, playing ping-pong and billiards, eating fresh eggs from the hens, talking with the lovely owners. Plus a visit to the intriguing Craters of the Moon National Park, just a few miles away. All in all, a great time!"

  • Gorgeous home!!

"This house is so well stocked! It is gorgeously decorated and so comfortable. We had two families stay comfortably - we would definately come back. The rental experience - Amazing!! Nice people to deal with. The one thing I would say is - do not attempt to bring your boat or trailer to the house ! There is not enough turn around space and we learned this the hard way. Best to launch your boat before driving to the house and we left our trailer at the boat launch for 3 days - no problems. This is a primo vacation spot and I just can't say enough about it. We loved it!"

  • Quiet, Comfortable Lodging on Rose Lake

"Watsons Rose Lake Lodge is the place to stay for a quiet retreat. The lodge is located above an old tavern and has been fully remodeled with all the amenities. It is tucked away just up the hill from the boat landing. And is within a 30 mile drive to Coeur D' Alene. After playing all day....kayaks, paddle boards, swimming, it was a pleasure to come back to the Lodge and enjoy the camaraderie of a campfire. The Lodge has comfortable queen size beds, a set of bunks for the kids, an adequate, stocked kitchen and dining area for us to sleep and feed the adults and children in our group. The washer and dryer was nice to clean up swim suits and towels. And with 90 degree day time temperatures, was nice to have air conditioning. One thing to note, is the Lodge is off the grid with no access to Internet. However, the lodge care takers, Joe and Yvonne, were wonderful in providing all the information we needed about the area. Would definitely stay here again if in the area."
