  • Another Cascade wedding

"What an excellent base for a family reunion ! With family here in town we all seem to gather in Cascade every July for a large (or small) reunion. And what better time to have a wedding ! Five branches of the family have had a early July wedding so we have had many opportunities to sample the variety of rentals in the area. By far Windancer has been a favorite. With the great Kitchen/ dining table and overflow on the benches on the back porch we could assemble everyone here. The large playroom in the basement kept the "littles" occupied for hours. Upon discovery of Brian Kerr's artwork the house took on an even greater appeal. As my only daughter enjoys her wedding, we welcome anther branch of the family to continue to enjoy Idaho hospitality. We will be back. Thank you so much for sharing your gem with our family."

  • Beautiful House, Property and Location!

"The house was perfect for a week long stay with my extended family. Everyone had separate sleeping quarters and bathrooms which is key. The house is beautiful and very well appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the tranquil setting and sitting out on the porch and my daughter loved playing in the lawn during the mornings and after dinner. The property owner is very responsive and great to work with. The house is easy access to Driggs and Victor which has everything you need for your stay there. We saw a rodeo in Driggs which was so much fun and did daily trips down to Jackson and Grand Tetons which is about 45 mins. We also found a great fly fishing spot about 20 min from the house. I could have easily stayed another week as the area has so much to offer."

"We just returned from a stay at this fabulous house! It has everything you need for a great family getaway and is large enough to serve extended families very well. It's stocked with everything you will need for a comfortable, fun vacation. Close access to the main lodge and chairlifts........loved the hot tub after a long day on the slopes! Highly recommended..............!"

  • Beautiful place on the River

"This was our first stay at Flatwater Landing and hopefully will not be our last! It is a beautiful, quiet place with a nice private beach on a nice part of the river. It is perfect for waterskiing, jetskiing and just swimming right off the dock. The house does have an interesting layout, but there is lots of room in the house and on the grounds. We paid to have our extended family park their motorhome next to the house and it was perfect for this use. We ate outside most every night using the nice outdoor furniture and bbq provided, played croquet and volleyball on the lawn, and enjoyed the lakeside firepit most evenings. When a bad storm blew up one night the buoy provided was perfect for our boat. Cabin was clean, well equipped and the owner was easy to deal with and it is obvious that they take good care of this property. The only drawback was that the main part of the living space (kitchen, living room and 2 of 3 bedrooms) are up steep stairs and made for a lot of up and down - but that is minor! One of the nicest rentals in the Sandpoint area!"
