"Our stay at the property was fantastique! Very beautiful, modern features, excellent bedding, well appointed furniture, excellent kitchen and appliances, easy to operate gas fireplace and HVAC, and TV & wifi. We cooked several meals, and every imagined utensil was available and in new condition. Washer / dryer are new and operate very quietly. The rooms are very quiet from external noise, and very easy to sleep in. View of river is excellent, and we saw eagles fly by every day. Nice area to walk along boardwalk and docks. Close walk to very good restaurants, cafes and coffee shops. 5 minute drive to downtown CDA, and about 45 minutes to Spokane international airport, and downtown Spokane. Access was very easy with the keys and fob in a lock-box, and underground parking, with elevator access to the room is very convenient. We did no boating, but private slip right in front of property would make that very convenient. Same as for skiing, but Mt. Spokane and 49 North are within 1 hour, and Schweitzer not much further away. In summary, the property in perfect for those wanting a beautiful, modern vacation spot with a beautiful view and close access to the wonders of the Northwest."

  • Spacious, Comfortable Home With Plenty of Amenities!

"Our stay at the Bruce's home was quite comfortable. The upstairs unit has one bedroom with 3 beds and a separate bedroom with two beds. There were pillows and blankets to spare! The owner has thought of everything. Need a pen? A permanent marker? Notepad? Laundry detergent to use the washer and dryer in the bathroom? Electric griddle? Books to read during your stay? Board games? All present. The house is dated but I really liked the spacious, retro kitchen. The large deck looks out over the river, and the opening between mountains frames a perfect summer sunset. The river is right across the street, where we saw the remains of monstrous fish that died after spawning, as well as some living buddies. The only parts I disliked about the house was my inability to figure out the gas fireplace and the steep driveway. As we limited our drive to town (a short trip in to Elk City) and there is no phone on the property, I didn't think it was worth the phone call to inquire. We enjoyed the peace and quiet during our stay. All in all, I highly recommend to anyone wanting the amenities of home and the peace the Elk City area can provide."

"My husband, two children and myself loved our stay here. We particularly enjoyed the person experience David offered. Easy walk to beach, park and downtown activities. Definitely will stay again."
