  • Another amazing stay!

"We just arrived home from our second stay at the Gerends lake cabin on Hayden Lake. And once again...too wonderful for words. We spent many hours just lounging on the huge wrap around deck, barbecuing, entertaining friends, and soaking in the truly incredible lake view spread out in front of us. In fact, before we left, we both just stood on the deck, silent, I know both thinking the same thing: "I don't want to forget this view." It's a truly rejuvenating spot, and you just can't visit without feeling wonderful. There are even MORE water toys than our last visit, which I didn't think was possible! We both used the SUP boards, the canoe, the Seacycle, the paddle boat, and misc. other items that were available. I don't think we could have worked our way through all of the water toys in a week's time! They have a wonderful little sandy beach cove, with stairs to access it, and we loved throwing floaties for our dog from there. There's also a huge rock to jump from, and just so many great things to do, including hiking up behind the cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits with Jeanne, the onsite manager. She is wonderful! She checked in on occasion to make sure we had everything we needed, which was so nice. The home is so well stocked, it's almost unbelievable. Right down to clips to hold on the outdoor tablecloth! My husband asked if I brought those. I said "Nope! The Gerends have thought of everything!" The home is clean, comfortable, and has everything you will need for your stay. Should you need to run into town, it's less than 20 minutes away. This cabin is wonderful! We can't recommend it highly enough. We look forward to our next visit!"

  • Beautiful Home; Gorgeous Views!

"This home was perfect for our group of 7 adults. It was very clean, well-stocked with just about anything you may need, and very comfortable. We spent many evenings on the fantastic deck that wraps around two sides of the home. It is perfect for having dinner, enjoying the view of Henry's Lake, or just relaxing after a day of activities. The location worked out quite well. It is an easy 20-minute ride to the entrance of Yellowstone Park, where we spent a lot of time. The town of West Yellowstone is a great town to shop, eat and feel like you've stepped back in time. We had dinner at the Buffalo Bar downtown. Great food and decent prices. We took a beautiful ride to Hebgen Lake where we rented a pontoon boat for the day. Breathtaking scenery including the mountain goats! Bear World in Rexburg is worth the trip. It is a drive-thru park but you can also enjoy inside the park with kids rides, petting zoo, and take a ride on an open-air truck where we were actually able to feed the bears! We also went to Grizzly World in West Yellowstone and were able to see some amazing grizzly bears. Besides the Buffalo Bar restaurant mentioned above, we would recommend the Bar N Ranch which is not too far from the home. Reservations are recommended. The food was outstanding. If you're hungry for pizza, we really enjoyed the Wild West Pizzeria, also in West Yellowstone. The owners were very helpful and great to work with. We would definitely stay here again."

  • Our stay at the Lumberjack cabin was memorable

"My family of 5 very much enjoyed our stay at this quaint and cozy cabin. It is in an ideal location just a few miles from Silverwood theme park and Spokane Washington (for awesome shopping). I will definitely be booking this again for our next summer getaway."

  • Incredible Lake View and Hot Tub....ahhhhh

"Stayed here with our daughter and grandchildren for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The home is located at the end of a private road and we felt secluded though there are lakefront homes stretched north and south from here. The well-maintained vintage cabin and decor was really nice, and we hardly left the huge lakefront deck addition (very strong and spacious). The home has a very nice lakefront set up with dock, beach area, fire pit, and kid's picnic areas. Kitchen is on small side but has nice appliances. Wasn't room for a dining area but a handy butcher block bar works ok. Only complaint - master bed was way too soft for our preference. Soaking in a hot tub at dawn watching the sun come up over the Payette forest and lake....well, you just can't beat that! Thanks for the wonderful stay. We'll be back for sure."
