  • Cozy Mountain Condo

"I came with a close group of friends to ski/snowboard at Schweitzer. The condo fit our needs nicely - big dining room table, two full baths, parking for two vehicles. The condo is full of everything you'll need for your visit - plenty of dishes and towels, nice appliances, etc. The place has a beautiful view of the mountains. Gregg was fantastic to rent from - he communicated regularly with me leading up to the trip and then during the trip to make sure everything was going well. Having the right person to rent from is sometimes as important as the place you rent. Gregg even worked with us to reschedule our trip from 2015 to 2016 - Amazing! The owner clearly cares about his property and wants to make sure the renters enjoy their stay. There were only a few negatives about this place. One was the distance from the village, 0.6 miles was just a little too far to walk with all your ski gear. Another was the WiFi - basically nonexistant - Gregg is aware and plans to change providers, so hopefully that won't be an issue for much longer - but i believe consistent internet connection on the mountain is a problem for everyone not just here - so plan to relax unplugged for the week. And last was the hot tub - which exists but is off limits to renters - yet still shows up in the listing and rental handbook in the condo - it's disappointing that previous renters have ruined that privilege. There really is nothing better than soaking in a hot tub after a long day on the slopes - we were quite disappointed. We loved our visit to Schweitzer and are considering a trip back out in the summer - we will certainly keep this condo in mind for future visits!"

  • Fourth of July Gathering

"This was our first year renting the River Street condo and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. As another reviewer mentioned, it felt like home away from home. The location is great (close to town, but not too close), close to River Run Village, and the bike trail. The house had all of the necessary amenities and was very clean. There were two families, four adults and 6 kids total (all under the age of 13), so we rented both sides of the condo and as a result it never felt crowded. The kids loved having their own bathrooms and their own TVs (so did the parents). The "parking lot" is a bit odd and isn't very conducive to SUVs, especially if the other units that share the lot have renters at the same time, but there is "street parking" which was more than adequate. Brian and Karen at Mountain Lifestyles were easy to work with and very responsive to my requests. Other than some back and forth about whether we had a pet dog staying with us (we did not, but apparently a very nosy neighbor contacted the management company saying that we did), we had a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back if they will have us."

  • Comfortable, cozy, convenient and charming...all built into one cabin...,GREAT!!!

"Spending two weeks in this wonderful setting wasn't enough, so we booked three weeks for next summer. We highly recommend this property if you want all the conveniences of home, plus exquisite surroundings. Close to Jackson, the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Relax is a comfortable hot tub after a busy day of skiing, hiking, biking or just sightseeing. Can't say enough about hosts Amber and Bryan."

  • A great week

"My sis and I enjoyed 5 days at the lake. The house is very well appointed, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The view of Lake Pend Oreille is beautiful. We took several excursions on the lake in our kayaks. We paddled around 3 little islands, one of which (Pearl Island) is a bird sanctuary. Great place for our picnic lunch!"
