"Pros: -Owner was very responsive. We were unable to get in with the garage code but he responded to us very quickly for an alternate way to get in. -When the coffee maker did not work, the owner again responded and had a replacement one same day! Lots of kitchen amenities. -Cabin is very cozy, very close to downtown and a quick 10 minute drive to Brundage Skiing. -Pets are allowed which was great. -Hot tub worked great, lots of local wildlife. -Very close to our fav restaurant- Lardos Cons -The cabin could use a bit of repairs done -Toilet in Captain's quarters moves around- seal is broken, needs fixing -Captain's shower head sprays water on the wall causing damage -Only one TV in the cabin for those who care (info states 2) -More bath size towels are needed if you are up to cabin capacity -Heating works too well. Downstairs needs a higher temp than upstairs so it got very warm at night in the upstairs Captain's quarters. Tough to regulate. Overall, the cabin is a great getaway that needs a few items looked at!"

  • Amazing!

"The pictures don't even do this place justice! This place was incredible. Family reunion was a success largely because this lodge impressed everyone! We hope to come back year after year. Thanks so much!"

  • A lovely cabin with great views

"The cabin was perfect for our 10 day end of August family vacation for a party of 7 - parents, grandparents and 3 grown kids. The property is very comfortable, clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of bed linens and towels, and the kitchen had everything you need to feed a crowd. The views are spectaular - we really enjoyed our breakfast on the deck every morning. The location is great, with easy access to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. The noise from the road didn't bother us, and was a small price to pay for the fantastic location and views. The fishing creek near the house was a definite plus - a couple of hours spent there in the morning netted us a terrific grilled trout dinner at night. The momentary scare thinking we locked ourselves out of the cabin was dealt within minutes after we contacted one of the housekeepers. We really enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend the property."

  • Lovers of Yellowstone

"Very clean and cozy house with all of the amenities that one could ask for. Great location, just a couple of miles from entrance to West Yellowstone. House is more than spacious with ample parking and great mountain views. We stayed there for over a week; and the entire time the place felt like home. Owner has added a bunch of nice "extras" that you can use or borrow: like trail and park guides, listing of places to visit and beverage/food coolers. HIGHLY recommend 'Our Montana Home' to everyone."
