  • Will be returning!! :)

"We have stayed in numerous VRBO properties with great experiences and this one did not disappoint. The location was perfect for us with a grocery store a few blocks away and a variety of restaurants maybe a 10 min walk. On street parking was never a real problem. I would recommend getting some disposable plates, cups, silverware as there is no dishwasher but this was not a problem for us. Beds were comfortable with plenty of extra linens for the daybeds/couches. We will definitely look into staying here when we come back to town!"

  • Great stay at a great location

"We loved spending a few days at this property. It's a clean space in an older building. We loved the feel of the space overall. It's very close to many restaurants and a starbucks that is within a short walking distance. The Lincoln Square area is awesome and is a great place to walk through and have lunch or dinner. Very close to almost anything you might need!"

  • Great place, great neighborhood, great owner.

"In from Germany, I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property recently for 11 nights for a combined business / pleasure trip. I absolutely loved it! The property was clean and well maintained. The furnishings were plentiful, very comfortable and the whole interior was very tastefully decorated. So many “little things” and attention to details were also included: the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with all the supplies I needed for my stay, the walk in closet included an iron and ironing board, extra pillows and blankets and a foldable shopping trolley, among other items. I also really enjoyed the balcony off my bedroom. When I wasn’t at Jeri’s Grill around the corner, I enjoyed my breakfast and coffee there while soaking up the sunrise. Great Location! My business took place in the Loop and at McCormick Place. It took me just a few minutes to walk to the brown line that took me to these locations quickly and stress free. My pleasure took place in Wrigleyville – YES, IT HAPPENED!! Cubs are the Champs!!! This was about a 40 minute walk through the nice nearby park and down along Lincoln Ave. You could, of course, also take public transportation. There are also plenty of great restaurants & bars near the property that I also took advantage of. I would recommend this property to anyone and would definitely stay there again myself. If I came with my family, I'd try to rent the 2nd floor back together with this unit, or the downstairs unit. Virgil was simply wonderful, uncomplicated and very accommodating. Thank you, Vigril, for such a pleasant stay."

  • Lovely apartment in a great neighborhood

"My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway and this apartment fit all of our needs (near great restaurants, in a beautiful neighborhood, close to the El). The apartment was clean and well stocked. It's well appointed and comfortable. We only used one of the bedrooms, but we easily could have had another couple join us. We enjoyed having morning coffee and playing backgammon at the dining room table which overlooked the back yard. We went out to explore soon after we got there. There's a brand new Aldi that wasn't open yet (we looked in and the shelves were all empty, but it looks like it should be soon), a Family Dollar right around the corner, Geri's Diner is a block and a half away and it's a great greasy spoon, we did some shopping at Amadara, which is about four blocks away, close to the El. It's a fun store owned by a Nepalese man and his Thai wife. They had a bunch of beautiful imported items and he was a joy to chat with. We took in a concert at The Old Town School of Music, had a wonderful dinner at an Indian restaurant right down the street, and took in an Irish music 'jam session' at another bar/restaurant. We loved everything about the area and the apartment was lovely to come back to after a long day. Relaxing on the couch and watching Netflix was a welcome reprieve after a full day of museums and exploring downtown. Virgil is very kind and kept us informed about everything we needed to know. You'll enjoy your stay here and Virgil will do everything he can to ensure you do!"
