    "We 3 guys from our company in the 3 bedroom 3 bath Penthouse at Grand Plaza - and they loved it!! The view, the apartment, the care and contact with the owners was great leading up to and after. We will definitely try to make use of these units again in the future!"

  • Awesome location makes up for the mediocre mgmt

    "My sisters and I stayed at this Condo for a weekend getaway in July. The condo has 1 or 2 HUGE pros and a few annoying/negative cons. However, you know what they say, Location! Location! Location! Overall we had a great experience and I would recommend it. (note that the pictures associated with this posting do not look like the actual condo.) Pros: Located right off of Grant Park which is close to the Subway, the Navy Peer and more and a medium walk / short bus ride from The Bean, The magnificent mile and the museum. Basically, just about everything you want to do in Chicago! The condo itself was very nice - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen/living/eating area. Perfect for 3-6 people to have a great stay and the view at night and during the day was mesmerizing! Cons: The management company is slow: Slow to respond, slow to confirm, slow to send details. And when they did send the details, it was a 20 page document on all the things you could and couldn't do and all of the things they don't provide. They don't provide some of the basic amenities you would expect from any place you stay such as soap, shampoo and a hair dryer. All in all, a minor inconvenience, it just seems strange / inhospitable that they don't provide these minor conveniences. At 8am on our last day, some guy just opens the door to our condo without knocking, sees us and says "sorry, from the cleaning team. Should I come back?" Um, yes! Very disconcerting (and intrusive!) Also note that the condo does not look like the pictures provided - its much better."
