  • Spa-like atmosphere

"Our visit was from 12/26/16 to 1/1/17. We loved staying here! Myself, my husband and our two grown children have relatives both in WI and IL so this location was convenient for us. Rather than get two hotel rooms, we rented this house. And it was MUCH nicer than a hotel! It was a bit hard to get to due to the winding roads in the area, but we were never lost. The decor was very zen-like. It was cold when we stayed there so the electric fireplace was nice to have. They had every amenity you could think of and more, including Keurig coffee, a full kitchen with whatever dinnerware you could possibly need, personal care products in the bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and BIG tv's both in the sitting area and the master bedroom. The Wifi worked well. The patio out back looked very nice and was right on the water, although it was too cold for us to enjoy it outside. We were greeted with chocolates and several small bottles of champagne. And Olga was very accommodating, answering every question we had and informing us of anything we needed to know. Twin Lakes is a small town but it has several restaurants and shops. If you are looking for a place near Wilmot mountain in the winter or near the lakes in the summer, this is a wonderful choice. Thank you Olga!"

  • Great property for a summer stay

"Since we now live out of state, we spent 4 weeks at this property this past summer to visit with kids and grand kids. There was plenty of room for the kids to stay over and for the grandkids to play without being underfoot. The bath and shower facilities are modern and clean. The kitchen arrangement is unique. Note that there are a "lot" of steps leading to the deck (my favorite hangout) and even more leading down to the pier. On the plus side, all the steps kept us from gaining weight this summer. Paddock Lake is a bit on the weedy side. We brought our own kayaks whose rudders got caught up on the weeds rather frequently. Yet, it is popular for water skiing and tubing. We enjoyed watching numerous wipe-outs from our perch up on the deck. If you are a perfectionist, you might not enjoy this property. If you are a seasoned traveler, you'll probably feel right at home."
