  • Perfect!

"The house is well kept and sets right on the river with beautiful surroundings. It was quiet but still close to downtown. We enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again!"

  • Eagle's Nest EXCEEDED all Expectations!

"As the door swung open, I had a moment where I thought of "Goldilocks" standing in awe of the big house she was entering. I've hosted a weekend retreat for our directors for 6 years, and this was the ultimate destination. Wish I'd found it earlier. Our event is a Friday night till Sunday, and we don't leave the premises, so all the food is prepared and served on site. The kitchen fascilities are high end from silverward to dishes to coffee pots and steak knives, even the spice drawer is organized. The spacious first floor allowed us to cook, dine and have training sessions. We could sink back into luxurious leather couches for in depth conversations, or perch at the counter on bar stools for a snack and a chat. The next day, we chose to have our taco bar lunch downstairs in another complete kitchen dining area. One night we had a "bed time" segment, and the downstairs circular leather couch conversation pit was a perfect place to share stories. Part of our tradition is to intersperse training with games, and the multi level decks and hot tup and driveway and firepit were back drops for crazy games and fun pictures. The first director who came a little early said, "I don't know if I want to look at the bedrooms till you tell me which one is mine.." In the past her sleeping accomodations maybe hadn't alway been stellar. As she peeked through every single bedroom, her exclamations and comments got louder and more enthusiastic. "I don't care where you put me, this is AMAZING!" she stated. We crammed in so much in our weekend, and multiple times I'd pause when I'd notice one more detail, one more decorating nuance that cemented my opinion of the opulence of the decor. I appreciate staying in luxury, but that's not easy to do when you're housing many and keeping costs reasonable. This house far exceeded anything I imagined, and truly, the whole time I was there, I was thinking of what other group I could bring or recommend. Before leaving, we circle the room asking for individual takeaways, and preceding the motivation and teaching and training evaluations, every person commented on the house experience. A STELLAR EXPERIENCE"

  • First Loft experience

"We really enjoyed the loft. Very clean, stocked and had a great ambiance. Love the old store feel on the outside with new on the inside! Cute little area and close to lots of wineries on the trail. Great experience, owner was very nice."
