  • Relaxng Family Weekend for Labor Day

"We had 6 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs stay at this house for Labor Day weekend 2016. Our family really enjoyed spending time here. Although there are many houses nearby, this house is tucked in the trees and really does give you the feeling of seclusion. My kids enjoyed the extremely large back yard, we played many games of baseball back there over the weekend. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need. The house had plenty of room and we did not feel cramped at all. We enjoyed the hot tub on the screened in deck, as well as breakfasts, coffee, and game time on the nice outside table on the other deck. We also really liked the basement, with foosball, electronic darts, a basketball arcade game, and also there were many games and books there. My kids especially enjoyed all the Disney books. We didn't use the pool while we were there, but it looked nice. We did go kayaking on the lake on the property grounds, which was really nice. It was very calm and not busy at all, even with it being Labor Day weekend. We also loved being so close to downtown Galena. I would recommend this house to any large group looking for somewhere to stay for a nice, relaxing weekend, or even a longer trip, lots you can do. Thanks Tom!"

  • Nice Stay in Roscoe Village

"My daughter and I had a nice visit as we moved her into Northwestern. This was our first stay in the penthouse loft and it was very nice. We spent some nice time on the loving deck overlooking Roscoe on some lovely September evenings. Nice kitchen and furnishings. We also had another killer breakfast at Kitsch'n on Roscoe. Those are the best hash browns I've every had! Parking is pretty easy on the side streets. We had no troubles. It was about a 30 min ride to Evanston and the traffic wasn't too bad."

  • Perfect Location

"We enjoyed a great 4 night stay in this condo that comfortably housed 8 of us. Located in the Lincoln Park, we were minutes away from the Red/Purple/Brown Line stop (Fullerton), De Paul University, and other area highlights. With cafes and a Whole Foods right around the corner, this was the perfect spot for us to enjoy Chicago while maintaining access to area amenities. Inside the unassuming exterior, the two story condo was spotless, with keyless entry (4-digit code), plenty of spare linens, and in-unit washer/dryer. The Kitchen had everything we needed, as well as a grill on the back patio. The only small complaint here is that the front "balcony" (quite small, and probably unsafe) was bolted shut, for good reason, but it didn't allow us to open the windows for airflow. The Unit had wifi and cable as well. You'll need to go to up a flight of stairs to get to the first level, so it might not be Additionally, we were able to push for a later checkout with Roscoe Village Guesthouses the day of and they were gracious enough to accommodate. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend."

  • Beautiful Property in one of the most exclusive areas in Downtown Chicago!

"Well maintained, updated, beautiful property. Location is second to none, on a beautiful quiet street in the Goldcoast area. A short walk to Gibson's, Tavern on Rush, The Pancake House, and off the shopping on the Miracle mile. We will be returning."
