  • Great Weekend Getaway With Friends

"Stayed from Thursday-Monday in this awesome house! Perfect for a week or weekend getaway with friends or family. The beach is only a few minute walk and we visited there everyday. There is a huge back yard and deck, perfect for a day or night time hang-out and bonfire. Everyone in the neighborhood was so friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be looking to rent here again!"

  • Christmas Vacation

"We had a wonderful time here. We brought our elderly parents here and hosted our kids for Christmas. This worked out perfect, with a kitchen that accommodated cooking and eating for up to 11 people..... and Amy even had a Christmas tree up and waiting for us! We loved watching the ducks and geese on the lake and enjoyed visits from the neighbor's big black cat! For our parent that used a walker, the upstairs bathroom was a little tricky, but we made it work. I highly recommend renting the entire house, as it gives you lots of options for seating and eating together. Thank you Amy, I hope we can come back when it is warm so we can really enjoy the lake. One last thought...when using google maps, it lists Bethel Meadows road as Bethel School Road. (this caused us a bit of trouble when we arrived - no fault of owner)."

  • Great Location! Million dollar view! Frat house furnishings!

"Love the location of this place for it's accessibility to downtown, the waterfront, the parks, the Art museum and much more. If you're real adventurous like we were, you can can even walk to Wrigley Field for a Cubs game. Only 6.2 miles through fun neighborhoods. As for the view, we could not get enough of it. Stunning! What was really nice is that you have the same view from the living area and both bedrooms. As for the furnishing. Sparse, old and worn out. I'm not sure which condo is pictured here but it sure wasn't the 2br 2ba we rented. In the living area there is a black vinyl sofa that has seen better days. An old brown sofa bed that was probably the best piece there and a gold chair that was stained and thread worn with holes. The underneath of the chair was ripped and hanging on the floor. Two black end tables with chips in them. One had the TV on it. (It also would have been nice to have a television that had cable access). The dinning room table has seen better days also. Along with its miss matched chairs. The two beds were basically a frame, box spring and a mattress. No backboards. Also the carpets could use an upgrade. Especially in the master bedroom where there were actually hole in it. But all in all the location and the view would bring us back. With a little sprucing up of course."
