  • Convenient and safe location, Gold Coast, Chicago

"We stayed at E Cedar St for 5 nights and it was absolutely lovely. Upstairs is a more formal Great room with one bedroom and bathroom. Downstairs is another bedroom with kitchen bath and dining providing two separate living quarters. Enjoyed the comfortable bedding immensely We found the street very safe and the neighbours extremely helpful and friendly. Advice as to catching cabs, and how to get anywhere was offered freely by helpful neighbours. It certainly is an upmarket area. E Cedar is only one block from Michigan Ave (Mag Mile) so shopping is on the doorstep from Prada to Marshalls. Many restaurants are a very short walk and all the sights are just a cab ride away. We never used public transport but found the cab drivers to be honest and fair. We would thoroughly recommend River Roast at night for both food and ambience. We had deep dish Chicago pizza at the mall off Macy's (light and fluffy pastry) and Garretts popcorn the 7th floor of the Mall thereby avoiding lines. The Chicago architecture tour is a must and the ladies restroom on the 96th floor of the Hancock building is not to be missed. Would stay again at E Cedar and have given it a 5 star rating"

  • Perfect!

"My husband and I rented the Yellow Cottage for six weeks to be near our youngest granddaughter and of course, her parents! It was cozy, quiet and worked well for us. It ended up we had friends come for a short stay and another granddaughter used the guest room as well. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is bright and functional although instructions for the dish washer would have been helpful. We rented bikes for getting around the village and we enjoyed riding on the flat terrain. The house is close to public transportation, within walking distance of cafes' and a grocery store and even downtown Oak Park! Hope to be back again!"

  • A Great North Chicago Rental

"Our family recently stayed in this large home in Rogers Park to attend a wedding in Highland Park. We appreciated the spaciousness of this home, adequate sleeping space for nine, the modern kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and comfortable common areas. The location was perfect to access public transit to the city ( we opted to Uber) or enjoy a one mile walk to Lake Michigan and Loyola Park. Parking was an issue coming in late on Friday and Saturday nights. As we were aware of this, we parked several blocks away and then moved our car in the AM. Thank you, Yehuda, for sharing your home and your excellent responsiveness ... we look forward to returning!"

  • Great Location! Million dollar view! Frat house furnishings!

"Love the location of this place for it's accessibility to downtown, the waterfront, the parks, the Art museum and much more. If you're real adventurous like we were, you can can even walk to Wrigley Field for a Cubs game. Only 6.2 miles through fun neighborhoods. As for the view, we could not get enough of it. Stunning! What was really nice is that you have the same view from the living area and both bedrooms. As for the furnishing. Sparse, old and worn out. I'm not sure which condo is pictured here but it sure wasn't the 2br 2ba we rented. In the living area there is a black vinyl sofa that has seen better days. An old brown sofa bed that was probably the best piece there and a gold chair that was stained and thread worn with holes. The underneath of the chair was ripped and hanging on the floor. Two black end tables with chips in them. One had the TV on it. (It also would have been nice to have a television that had cable access). The dinning room table has seen better days also. Along with its miss matched chairs. The two beds were basically a frame, box spring and a mattress. No backboards. Also the carpets could use an upgrade. Especially in the master bedroom where there were actually hole in it. But all in all the location and the view would bring us back. With a little sprucing up of course."
