  • Hidden Treasure

"This was one of the best experiences I've had with Homeaway. This little farmhouse is nestled between farm fields and giant cottonwood trees. We were treated like royalty by our wonderful hosts, Tony and Liz!! They took us for a tour of there beautiful farm. They have rescue miniature ponys, a couple of horses, miniature chickens and ducks and 4 gorgeous golden retrievers! They also grow fresh herbs and sell their organic dips and teas. Awesome!! We spoke with Liz and Tony several times and they were very informative and knowledgeable about the area. The house itself was loaded with antiques, beautifully decorated and very functional. It is an older farmhouse so the water pressure drops when the owners are watering the greenhouse but they let you know in advance. We are a family of 4 and there was plenty of room for us. We slept wonderfully, beds are comfy. There was wifi and we streamed movies without a problem. Really an exceptional experience and we can't wait to return this summer and see all the gardens in full bloom!!"

  • Fabulous experience!

"Initially the condo advertised was unavailable, but they were able to house us in another condo. That condo had an amazing view over the lake & the city! We were amazed!! Even though we came in a bit late, we were met by Todd personally and given a tour through the condo and he was very helpful with any questions we had and even offered his cell number so we could call with any questions throughout our stay. The condo was beautifully furnished with anything we needed. The couch folded out into an extra bed so we had plenty of room to accommodate us. We found plenty of fun restaurants up on Bryn Mawr and a train station there too to get downtown. It was a great place for us to be between Northwestern University for my son & downtown. I would definitely stay there again!"

  • great size for multiple family stay with all the needed household amenities, comfortable furnishing

"We had a slight snag with our early check in because of the late departure of the prior guests but the property owner responded immediately with a suitable resolution. The rest of our New Years stay went off with great success. We had 7 adults and 5 young children and never felt cramped. There was plenty of comfortable seating and a huge dining room table for meals, games and puzzles. We didn't use the sleeper sofa but the other 5 king size beds were deemed comfortable by all for the first time in any of my many multi-family overnight excursions. We packed extra cooking and backing wares only to return home unused thanks to the overly stocked kitchen. The fire place gave us some extra ambiance and the kids loved the foosball table. They may have liked the starry nights and indoor pool at the owners club even more. Thanks"

  • Excellent in every way!!

"Cozy apartment. Very well maintained and clean. Absolutely stunning views of Chicago skyline. Perfect location, 5-10 ride to pretty much everything. Also within walking distance to many attractions if weather is right. Very helpful staff at the complex. Just a perfect place for our family of five to stay for Thanksgiving! Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to anyone. Great property."
