  • Happy to be back

"My husband and I have stayed at this property in winter only, so it was a joy to return for a summer visit. The house is beautiful and immaculate, with all the amenities one could want. We love having such a beautiful and inviting kitchen while we are there, and being able to walk out the door and stroll the peaceful, quiet, wooded roads and open pasture areas of Tryon Farm. Lots of birds at this time of year really added to our pleasure. Laurel is a superb and responsive host."

  • Wonderful two weeks in Miller Beach

"We had a great time at this house in Miller Beach and highly recommend it. First of all, the house was great. It was 2 blocks from Randolph beach, with easy access. Second, the house had everything you needed. We really didn't need to bring anything in terms of towels, kitchen supplies, paper towels, etc. It really had everything you could want. Plenty of space with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a bonus basement area that the kids could take over. The outdoor space was nice and we often ate meals on the lower deck. Neighbors were nice and the area was quiet. Miller Beach was great. It's not very touristy and sometimes i wished for an ice cream shop... but the beach is beautiful, the train to Chicago is easy, Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is right next door, some good pizza and a couple restaurants you can walk to... Movies, grocery, Marquette Park and other necessities are close by. But the beach is the draw! Feels like an ocean but with fresh water. Kids can swim as the bottom is sandy and shallow. Albert was easy to work with, flexible and very helpful. We hope to come back and would definitely stay here again."

  • Close to Beach - Clean and Cozy Apartment

"My husband and I spent a weekend in this apartment to celebrate our anniversary. The apartment would be crowded for more than two people, but was fine for just the two of us. It was very clean, quiet, and close to the beach. There are beach paths on both sides of the building -- really is just steps away. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. The pictures are a true representation of the apartment and surroundings with a slight exception -- the trees have grown since the pictures were taken and the Lake is not as easily visible from the deck as it is in the picture, but was still a good view. This is the perfect area for those looking to get away from a commercialized beach scene - though still lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We have never been to Michigan City and were grateful for some recommendations from the property owner. We tried her favorite restaurant and are now fans as well. It was a very memorable weekend and we would definitely stay here again."

  • Gorgeous cabin just close enough the water and coffee

"A beautiful vintage cabin in the woods. Much bigger and more interesting than we could have imagined. The lake is very nearby and the neighborhood was so peaceful."
