"My husband and I stayed with our two small children, and we had a wonderful time! The cottage itself is charming...modern, well-equipped, and clean with original woodwork and doors throughout. Wonderful open layout in the common areas, but it was easy to find areas of privacy as well. We've stayed in beachfront homes before, but this is literally the closest we've ever been. Walk right down the stairs from the deck to a private beach that has a ton of beach toys as well as paddle boards and kayaks to experience the lake. The location can't be beat. The neighborhood is private, and it's only a short walk down the beach to dunes and the state park. It's also a short drive to other attractions, grocery stores, etc. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the deck and seeing the Chicago skyline across the lake. We'd recommend it and would love to come back ourselves!"

"I wish my actual home could feel as relaxing and beautiful as this rental house. The house is spacious, has a very modern feel, and is in a quiet neighborhood. It was exquisitely decorated, which gave it that extra touch of elegance. We looked forward to returning to the house each evening after our day's activities."

"This was a great place to relax and get away. Just minutes across the Michigan border into Indiana. House sits on the edge of woods, which I immediately took advantage of with a nice hike with the dogs. Oh, and waking up the next morning to find wild turkeys in the back was a real treat! Next day was spent exploring the beaches of Lake Michigan, visiting the town of 3 Oaks, and vising the downtown distillery and restaurant. I didn’t have my bike with me this time, but I will be bringing it next time to take advantage of prime biking real-estate. House itself was great. Modern kitchen, standing wood fireplace inside, large free standing tub in bath, and sun room for just relaxing. Loft area above was great for teenage travelers. House had a very creative artistic touch-lots of thought went into making this a unique place. Almost want to keep this place a secret, but that would be a disservice to others who are looking for a great place to get away. I absolutely recommend this place, and I will definitely be coming back!"

"The house was right sized for our entire family (2 Parents, 3 Sisters with Husbands, 2 Brothers (one with Girlfriend) and 6 kids (11, 9, 7, 4, 3, 1 years old) using air mattresses we brought for the kids.
Renting the pontoon boat with the house is a must if you don't have your own boat. We brought our own tube to pull the kids. The owner also let us use his kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boat.
Fishing was great. We dropped the line in and immediately caught fish (Small mouth bass and sun fish) off the end of the pier. At night, we caught cat fish.
The water is clean and the neighbors were very friendly. One neighbor let us use the diving board off his pier to let the kids jump in and swim.
Would I Recommend....ABSOLUTELY!
My family had a blast and we would definitely consider returning for a visit in the future."
