  • Tranquil retreat

"Tallgrass Cottage is a hidden gem in New Buffalo. The home is beautifully decorated, and as soon as you walk in the door you feel at home. The window seats on either side of the fireplace were my personal favorite, as that was a great place to sit, read and relax. The loft was great for the kids. They loved the toys, and that they had their own space to play. Everything about this home was wonderful and clean. The home is close to downtown and all New Buffalo has to offer. Overall a wonderful vacation. The staff at Waya Rentals were knowledgeable about the area, very friendly and prompt in answering my questions from where to eat to where to get groceries. Highly recommend this home!"

  • Wonderful two weeks in Miller Beach

"We had a great time at this house in Miller Beach and highly recommend it. First of all, the house was great. It was 2 blocks from Randolph beach, with easy access. Second, the house had everything you needed. We really didn't need to bring anything in terms of towels, kitchen supplies, paper towels, etc. It really had everything you could want. Plenty of space with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a bonus basement area that the kids could take over. The outdoor space was nice and we often ate meals on the lower deck. Neighbors were nice and the area was quiet. Miller Beach was great. It's not very touristy and sometimes i wished for an ice cream shop... but the beach is beautiful, the train to Chicago is easy, Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is right next door, some good pizza and a couple restaurants you can walk to... Movies, grocery, Marquette Park and other necessities are close by. But the beach is the draw! Feels like an ocean but with fresh water. Kids can swim as the bottom is sandy and shallow. Albert was easy to work with, flexible and very helpful. We hope to come back and would definitely stay here again."

  • Absolutely Perfect

"My husband and our two kids and our friends and their two kids just returned from a wonderful mini vacation in Michigan City. This rental is absolutely perfect! We stayed on the main level and even with 4 adults and 4 kids there still seemed to be ample room to rest and relax. This place was nice, very clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen had every utensil imaginable, plenty of dishes and lots of pots and pans. There is a washer and dryer in the basement for which we were grateful to be able to wash our beach towels and swimsuits before making the drive home. If we weren't on the beach or eating, we could find our kiddos in the basement having a blast playing ping-pong. Don't worry about packing beach equipment because they have you covered... there are extra beach towels, life jackets, tons of beach toys and rafts and beach chairs, and even a couple of kayaks. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and we all feel it was definitely too short! My family and I don't vacation very often but we are hoping to make this trip again in the future. I communicated with the owner mostly by email and she was such a huge help, answering all my questions and even gave lots of suggestions. Jill, thank you so much for sharing your place with us! I think it's a gem and look forward to staying again sometime!"
