  • Quaint, Clean, and Convenient

"My wife and I, our 3 adult children and their spouse/guest and 3 grandchildren just returned from a weekend getaway June 9-12th. Well maintained home with direct access to the lake via their dock was great. We rented a boat for an entire day and being able to load guests and the gear from the dock was very convenient. We used the dock quite a bit and it made getting in and out of the lake when swimming very convenient too. 11 of us stayed in the unit comfortably despite there only being 1 bathroom and shower. Neighbors on both sides of the units were very friendly. Only real complaint is that the refrigerator kept things cool, but only barely. Ice maker doesn't work either. Probably would be nice if the owner replaced that unit as it has some age on it. Had to run an extension cord our a window to get power on the patio as the outside plug in doesn't work. Only minor issues that did not cause us any real grief. Lastly, got real lucky on the weather as it was mid 90's all weekend. A/C worked great in the house and being on a nice big lake in a very nice home is about the best place you could be when it's that hot. We really had a great mini vacation and hopefully will find time for all of us to get together and return again."

  • A perfect place for a weekend get away

"The Pine Cabin served as a home base for our weekend fishing trip. The location was perfect with many trout streams near by. The cabin was very clean and was well equipped. Shanyn was very helpful in the process, both before our trip and during our stay. While it is a beautiful cabin I think one of its best features is the view. We are already planning our return trip."

  • Great property

"House was great for a bachelorette party. Easy reservation and owners were very prompt with responses to questions. Nice and clean. Only complaint was beds were not very comfortable, but otherwise would stay there again."

  • Cozy duplex with in walking distance to many historic Mason City attractions!

"Jennifer was a perfect host. Jennifer met as at the property at the time she said she would be there. She promptly texted and emailed. Communication with our host...FIVE STARS! The kitchen (although small) was well supplied with all cookware, silverware, etc., and met our all our cooking needs. We used the K-cup style coffee pot in the mornings. We brought our dog along and they even provided a tie-out. It was very convenient to use in the back yard. The couple that rents the other have of the duplex were quiet and friendly. We only met the neighbors one time out on the porch. The house was very cozy and was well stocked with towels & hand soap. One of our favorite things about this property is this it was with in walking distance to everything, we wanted to visit: The East Park, the Meredith Wilson Footbridge, The Historic Inn Hotel, The Stockman House, Music Man Square, MacNider Art Museum, Suzie-Q cafe, plus great restaurants, bars and a cute coffee shop. We are hoping to stay again in the summer and use the canoe! LOVED IT HERE!"
