  • This house is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

"We stay at the Neptune house in July. It is a beautiful house and was very clean. It has a very nice deck and outdoor cooking area that we used a lot. It worked very well for us since we had children there. There are more steps than I thought there would be from the house to the water so we did get our exercise! Overall we really enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Neptune!"

  • Just what we needed!

"4 adults and 5 late teen swimmer used this as our base of operations when we attended 2016 Olympic swimming trials in Omaha. The accommodations were perfect for us. The swimmers used the boat on the pond (5 in the boat was a FULL LOAD), but they enjoyed paddling around the lake and discovering the frogs and other pond wildlife. The house had all the dishes, bowls, and etc for us to feed the crew (some steak knives would be good), but we did find enough knives to manage. The grill was small for the size of the house and fairly wobbly, but it worked fine. Our stay at Buck Run Lodge was a roaring success and We all endorse it wholeheartedly! Thank you~~"

  • Great place to stay!

"Our family enjoyed the lake house-spacious and comfortable. It was close to the downtown area and the activities we had planned. Great view of the lake. We also used the walking and bike path. The owner was very helpful and responded in a timely manner."

  • Great location and views

"Beautiful view of the river. Close to everything on the riverfront. On the days it rained, we visited a winery outside of town. Also took a trip up the river to quaint little towns and ended at Cabelas across the river in Wisconsin. Lots of bikes in garage to ride along the river or around town."
