  • Beautiful Home In A Great Location

"Had a terrific weekend at Lisa's beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in Covington, KY conveniently located almost at the foot of the walking bridge over the Ohio river to downtown Cincinnati. We loved her home so much we are planning on returning again next year. The neighborhood is historical with many fantastic homes from the middle to late 19th century. Lisa is a fantastic hostess. After our first day of enjoying all of the conveniences she provides, she checked in with us to see if we needed anything and we kidded her that we had no straws, (it was a joke because the house has EVERYTHING you would need) and within an hour we had straws. Super home, wonderful hostess and great location for a great price."

  • Wonderful location, wonderful house

"We rented this house for a quick getaway weekend to visit a friend and enjoy all the Hyde Park has to offer. We were delighted with the Victoria--the house was well-appointed and very clean, beautifully decorated and wonderfully located. With two bedrooms on the second floor, plus a small "mini" bedroom, and open rooms upstairs on the third floor with several beds, there was ample couple AND single sleeping spaces. The kitchen had everything we needed and the two TVs were conveniently located for gathering in the kitchen or in the living room. With a more formal setting area also on the main floor there was ample space to spread out. The other wonderful aspect of this property is that it is literally a block away from Hyde Park square and all the wonderful restaurants, wine bars and brew pubs it has to offer. I highly recommend Unwind as a place to. . .well. . .unwind. It has an amazing wine list, a relaxing and elegant atmosphere and terrific outdoor seating for warmer weather. We had a "can't miss it" breakfast at Echo and a mid-morning pick me up at Awakenings. We all agreed we need to come for a longer weekend to really enjoy all that Hyde Park has to offer. A few things to keep in mind: the Victoria really is a house from another era, and the only bedrooms are accessible only up some steep steps. Keep this in mind if you have any physical limitations. There is plenty of parking for two or perhaps even 3 cars in the driveway and you should be able to just park your car and walk to anything you need. Checkout expectations were very reasonable. Ginger was responsive to inquiries and easy to work with. We enjoyed this property so much we agreed we want to make it our "go to" for future visits!"

  • Quaint little studio in Cincinnati

"I really enjoyed my stay at Kimberly's place, it was well appointed and had all the features I needed. The place is in an area that's a bit dodgy, so if you are a little skittish about a questionable looking neighborhood, then be warned. I'm from NYC, so there's not a lot that scares me, therefore I was fine. I really liked how communicative Kimberly and he Mother, Melanie; who manages the place for Kimberly; was throughout the whole process....before, during, and after my stay. I also loved the fact that there was keyless, privately coded access to both the building and the apartment. The apartment itself has all the amenities I needed, a big kitchen with a microwave, even some bottles of wine, if u are a drinker. The bed was a little hard for my taste, but I slept well each night. The bathroom is tiny, as well as the toilet, so if you are a big person, just be aware of that. I'm a small guy, so it wasn't an issue for me. There's a window A/C unit that works really well, if you are there during the hot months. It's situated in a very convenient area, despite the aforementioned dodgy-ness of the neighborhood....I was able to get to most places in a matter of minutes. Also, there's plenty of free parking on the streets. The wifi was excellent, so I was able to be very productive for work. Overall, it was a great stay and I highly recommend Kimberly's place when visiting Cincinnati."
