  • Wonderful Stay!

"We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. It's location is very convenient to walk to shops and restaurants, and also the Town Branch distillery. We loved Amy's decor and the great kitchen amenities and also the large bath area. Would love to stay here again when we are in Lexington!"

  • Home away from Home for the Holidays

""Kitty's House" is a lovely, well-kept home, settled in a great neighborhood close to the Louisville International Airport, Churchill Downs, Kentucky Derby Museum, Louisville Slugger Factory, The Big Four Bridge and Conrad-Caldwell House. The owner has lovingly maintained the charm of this 1920’s home. It’s clean, spacious and includes all the necessities we needed (including towels, linens, full kitchen, wi-fi, cable, Netflix, etc.). We stayed there Christmas weekend and the house was decorated with a tree and other personal touches. I was able to prepare a Holiday meal in the fully stocked kitchen which was pre stocked with coffee, creamer in the fridge, iced beer mugs in the freezer and homemade cookies on the table. It truly is a welcome, relaxing getaway."

  • Convenient, affordable, flexible, and very near lake access

"Not fancy but everything you need as a base for Green River Lake. Huge living/kitchen area, great for gathering with flexibility. No TV (good!) but sure appreciated the great WIFI! Much preferred this to parking our bass boats in a motel parking lot with the attendant security issues. Owner is very responsive and this place is more than reasonable, given its utility and extreme proximity to the free launch/park at Green River Lake Marina and this is right at the entrance to the State Park!"

  • Grand Home in a Grand Neighborhood

"This is a beautiful home in an exquisite lush setting of towering trees with a small pond just off the deck and deer meandering through the yard. We just had a family reunion there. The entire weekend was delightful in every way. There was ample room for the kids to play both downstairs and outside. They especially enjoyed the trampoline, ping pong, and playing video games on the large TV in the rec room. There was a plenty of kitchen ware and counter space to serve a large group. The family room lined with floor to ceiling windows looking out over the lovely shaded yard was our favorite place to sit and visit. The large deck with tiki lights was also a hit. The house was immaculate and owner Jennifer Straub was so warm and accommodating. She made available everything we could possibly need plus a homemade Derby pie! We had family from five states and each was effusive with their praise of the home. We would love to stay there again."
