  • The pictures do not do it justice. A very nice home-like setting.

"I wasn't expecting such a nice place to relax at for spring break. My son and his friend enjoyed fishing in the pond everyday. It was spring break so it wasn't warm enough for the pool but that didn't seem to matter. Just minutes away from the marina where we rented a fishing boat two days of our trip. The location is perfect because it seems you're in the middle of nowhere but you're really just minutes away from a larger town. The house was beautiful, clean and well stocked. Steve was welcoming and helpful when we had questions. Even though the house is next to the office, it's not something you really notice. If you want a relaxing vacation with beautiful sites to see that are not too far away, this is the spot! If my teenage son wants to go back, I'd say it was a success!"

  • Great Family Getaway!!!!

"We had an absolutely amazing time at the Toebbe Timbers cabin. The rustic cabin secluded on a cliff overlooking Lake Cumberland was just what our family needed. The marina was just minutes down the road and hike/bike trails nearby as well, but if you just wanted to relax with family this cabin has everything you need. From the fire pit where we spent most of our time, to the horse shoe pit and corn hole set, and if you wanted to spend some time inside you had the pool table, game table and plenty of TV's. The expanded deck had so much outside seating, and the kitchen/BBQ grill had everything to cook meals for the entire family. There was so much room in the 2 1/2 story cabin that it fit the our whole family (with beds to spare), but if you wanted some seclusion it wasn't hard to find. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone. Even though the marina wasn't open yet for the season, since there were still no leaves on the trees the views of the lake made up for it."
