  • Great little cabin in remote location.

"The cabin was comfortable and we we're glad there was a fan for the top bunk as the warm air really did rise and it was toasty up there. It was nice to be able to bring our dogs, but not sure why there was an extra fee for pets when we cleaned up anyways. The cabin was clean and well stocked and I would have given five stars, but the towels smelled like smoke and I felt like I was drying myself off with an ash tray after every shower. Other than that, we enjoyed the fire pit and woods around the house. The TV had cable which was nice after we were exhausted from our cave tour. Thank you for a great stay."

  • Great home! Comfortable and well kept!

"The house was great! Clean and well decorated- well kept. The pool table, hot tub and games were great for a few rainy days. The view is beautiful! The owner was very easy to get ahold of very accommodating. We would certainly stay again!"

  • A Great Vacation Spot

"If what you are looking for is a beautiful, quiet spot to chill out, this is the place. The house is impeccable and the location is great: surrounded by trees and a short walk to the lake. There's a beautiful gas grill and a fire ring. That said, it is somewhat isolated. The nearest supermarket is 20-25 miles away; the same for most restaurants. Also, if you are coming to the area to visit Mammoth Cave National Park, figure on a good 40-50 minute drive (including a picturesque ferry ride.) My wife and I and our three grandsons enjoyed ourselves immensely."
