  • Beautiful vineyard and gardens.

"The Winemakers Suite is immaculately clean which is always the first thing we look at. The bed is very comfortable and the suite it self is decorated very tastefully. But not "user friendly" in some ways. No place to hang used towels, or set your suitcase (other than the floor), no nightstands. It has an unusual entry that is a public space when the winery is open. Minor problems, but awkward. The property is secluded without being miles from the interstate and when the winery is closed it is very private. We had a fire in the fire pit one night and spent a large portion of our time here outside. Tony was a most gracious host making our stay here one we hope to come back to. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for some relaxation. It is very close to the Ark Encounter and a wonderful alternative to hotels."

  • Great for the whole family!

"This home was perfect for our Christmas getaway. I was concerned having only 1 room for all 4 of our boys to sleep in, but it worked out perfect. They loved the ark room. This home is perfectly located, the Ark Encounter is just a few minutes down the road, and creation museum is only 40 minutes on the highway. The home is nicely furnished with all the linens and dishes you need. They have plenty of movies on hand, a few board games, books to read for the littles, and toys in the ark room. Thank you for such a great home away from home!"

  • Traveling Texans

"Easy to find on GPS. Cottage is cozy and homey when you open the door. Clean and inviting. Bed was comfortable. After touring the Ark, it was so nice to come to a warm home. Allen and Tammy are so accommodating, leaving snacks that we ended up taking with us on our day trip, and homemade Amish bread. So nice for a bedtime snack. Love the fact that if you forgot and ran out of personal items, everything is available, if you need them. Parking is convenient for unloading right to front door. Our only suggestion to Allen and Tammy would be to provide a hard copy of TV channels, as we had trouble figuring out local news channels. Also would be nice to have internet access. Not a deal breaker for us, but might for some. Overall great place to stay."
