  • Very Nice Holiday

"Stayed here with my family to celebrate Christmas. The only problem we had was limited hot water. If the dish washer is running, the showers are cold. Otherwise there were no complaints. The owner was fine to work with. She had the house decorated for Christmas, which was a very nice touch. The house is well maintained and close to shopping and restaurants (try Mojito's). Beds are comfy, WiFi and cable are reliable, kitchen is clean and stocked with necessary pots, pans, coffee maker, etc."

  • Nice & Homey!

"We enjoyed our time here......very quaint, historical, & colorful! Loved the neighborhood colors, too! Owner provided great customer service.......very quick to respond to any questions while we were deciding on a place to stay and after we decided to stay at her place. She sent us info on dining and attractions close by, too, which was much appreciated."

  • Beautiful home with lots of room for everyone but be aware of the steps leading down to the lake.

"We just returned from our week long stay at Catfish Cove and the home is truly a treasure. Six lovely bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was just right for our group of 12. I don't think there was anything that we needed/wanted that was not furnished AND the Bunn Ice Tea Maker was wonderful. The location is quiet and we saw a mother doe and her twin fawns feeding outside the house. There are 2 screened in porches and a wonderful swing set that our younger grandchildren enjoyed. The only tricky thing is navigating the 100 steps leading down to the covered 2 slip dock. The steps are made of wood and do not set level with the ground so you need to watch your footing and they become slippery after a rain. We had 2 slips during the week. That being said: Catfish Cove served us well! A big Thank You to Jayme, our contact for the week: quick responses to all of our questions."

  • Great property and perfect view!!

"This property was perfect for our recent trip to lake Cumberland. The house was in great condition, view of the lake was nice and very close proximity to the marina. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay close to Jamestown marina!"
