  • Home away from home!

"This beautiful country home in Crofton, KY was just what we needed. My daughter got married at nearby Burdoc Farms. As we are from the St. Louis MO area, we needed a home base that provided us with all the benefits of a real home where we could relax as a family, cook, clean up and basically go about our routine without juggling people and groceries in and out of coolers and rooms. Phyllis was amazing, she answered every question I sent her very quickly and the home was quiet, restful, country, and very clean. The amenities (double washer/dryer, full kitchen, movies, TVs, and rec areas) made this a real home for us. We slept a total of 15 people one night with no problem and no worries with 4 bathrooms. Less people the next night and still worth the price. Five minutes away a local country store has the things needed to prepare meals and pick up any necessities. Though we didn't have time to visit, Pennyrile Forest State park is very close and if we ever get to make it back I'd love to head up there. We did damage a couple of things as the house is not baby proof, but Phyllis was very gracious about it and told me not to worry about it. This was absolutely one of the best experiences I have ever had and since I had never booked a vacation home before I was beyond pleasantly surprised. I would recommend Phyllis and her lovely home to anyone looking for a quiet country get away. Thank you so much, Phyllis"

  • Fun Bourbon Trail experience with friends

"^ Close friends gathered here to celebrate a 65th birthday and tour the Bourbon trail. The house was so comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. The scenery around was beautiful especially at sunrise and sunset. Caron was the best host and we enjoyed sharing her family stories. The Kentucky ham she shared was delicious. It was easy access to hiking, the quaint town of Bardstown, and the east side of the Bourbon trail. We plan to come back!"

  • Great Stay

"Had an excellent stay at this Duplex. Me and some friends rented out both sides of the duplex and were very pleased. Plenty of parking as we had two boats and two vechicles. All the pictures are very accurate and it is very easy to deal with the owners. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have some fun on the lake. It's very close to Kenlake Marina and there's plenty of places to eat nearby."
