  • Great Long Weekend!

"My family and I booked the house through VRBO. Mr. Lindsay contacted me almost immediately. We had the details squared away before the end of that same day! We looked at other properties that were similar in price. We decided on this house because it was just outside of the busiest part of Carolina Beach. We were very happy with our decision once we arrived. The Lindsay's greeted us there and walked through everything with us the first day. The house is obviously nice (from the pictures), but we were very impressed by how clean it was. Our family had a wonderful vacation and we made some great memories with the children. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk and the Kure Beach pier is within walking distance. This was our first time renting a house instead of a hotel....and we were very, very pleased. We definitely got the R&R we needed and would highly recommend this house to all inquiring vacationers!"

  • Comfortable and spacious

"HBR 1526 is a very spacious studio. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, and it is nice to have a dining table and chairs, and full counter for "kitchen" prep (although have to use sink in bathroom). Do your research; most HBR studios do not have the dining table and chairs, and have very small prep space. The location is private and serene, with the lush tropical landscaping and mountain views, easy access to main building and pool. The Aloha Condos staff was very responsive. When we arrived there was only one towel and one washcloth for the 8 days, so I called and even though housekeeping staff had left for the day, she came back and took care of the problem. The not so great details? The tub didn't drain well; in fact, the "closer" didn't work at all so you can't fill up the tub to take a bath. The grout around the tub needs to be replaced, it is stained and unsightly. Otherwise, the bathroom is fine; good showerhead. There could be some type of drawers added under the sink; that would be a nice touch. The large upholstered chair in the living space was beautiful to look at and very comfortable, but had a strong musty/mildew smell so I couldn't sit in it. I have allergies to that type of thing. Nice beach items - cooler, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards. There was also a welcome basket that was a nice touch. Overall, a good stay."

  • Woodstock Magic

"Secluded but not remote, modern but cozy, eat-off-the-floors clean with a well-stocked kitchen and a wrap-around deck with gorgeous views of rustling trees, Sage is a magical cabin in the woods. From higher-tech touches like a CD/iPod stereo, cable TV and Netflix to smaller touches like plenty of extra towels , up-to-date travel guides and the right kind of coffee filters, Mirav has thought of everything necessary to make guests happy. Mine was a mother-daughter trip so we brought an inflatable bed and it fit perfectly in the bedroom. There is a pull-out sofa, but there is so much sun in the main room that it'd be hard to sleep in there. Of course, the sun is not a bad thing. The many windows brought the outdoors inside. Lots to do in the area: Horseback riding at Payne Too Farm in New Paltz, sailing with Captain Jerome's Tivoli Sailing charters in Kingtston, Opus 40 sculpture garden in Saugerties. And so many restaurants: Red Onion and New World Home Cooking in Saugerties, Oriole9 in Woodstock (actually not a tourist trap) and many more. We were sad to leave and will be back soon!"

  • The PERFECT Tahoe Getaway at Casa Tahoe!

"We had an amazing stay at Casa Tahoe! Our family of 5 adults and 1 toddler had plenty of room and then some! Casa Tahoe was so comfortable we felt right at home. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy for us cook meals. Our furry friends couldn't have been happier as well. A big fenced back yard, beautiful places to walk and swim so close to Casa Tahoe made for a very doggie friendly vacation! After a fun day at the beach we came back to hot showers, and comfy beds! The owners Frank and Linda were extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations, dog friendly Tahoe places, and home questions. We couldn't have been happier and look forward to our next Casa Tahoe stay. Thank you Casa Tahoe, The Cullum Family"
