  • Very cozy

"We had a wonderful time, such a quaint cabin with all the modern conveniences. Secluded yet close to town. We enjoyed having our morning coffee outside at the table and chairs provided. A beautiful setting. Only one complaint, our last day we had brown water which we assumed was from the water softener needing salt. Tried twice to make contact with the phone number provided on the cabin wall but no response, maybe due to the holiday weekend."

  • Fabulous Retreat

"We had the most wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating stay at Serenity Ridge! It was a magical place. Every evening we went down the road to the beach and experienced a glorious sunset. The house, which is tucked away into beautiful woods at the top of a ridge, is lovely and takes full advantage of the wooded setting. There are large windows, spacious rooms, updated baths and kitchen and a fabulous deck with a fire pit to enjoy! It is secluded, yet within an easy drive to Saugatuck, Douglas and Holland. Wonderful restaurants and shops, natural beauty and majesty. We highly recommend this lovely spot in breathtaking Southwestern Michigan."

  • Ideal location, roomy, clean, and welcoming...

"We couldn't be happier with the house we rented. The location is ideal, the house is roomy and very well appointed, and the communication was primo. Tons of space for two families with kids ranging from four to 16 and with varying bedtimes and wake up times. The two living room setup is perfect and allowed for music playing and sing along on one end and quiet puzzle solving on the other. Kitchen well supplied and with an island that, as always, turned into a prime gathering place. Loved the back yard and deck too--has a nice fire pit and plenty of space for bocce ball. Location of the property gives quick access to Sawyer and the surrounding area too. One member of our party has special needs and the house as a single level property was ideal in that regard as well. Thanks a million! We're looking forward to a return trip."

  • Fabulous "Sandcastle on the hill"

"From the very beginning of searching and inquiring about rentals, Pat's communication with me was great. The house sits at the end of the street so there is really only one close house neighbor on the one side. We rented this lovely home for bringing in the New Year with friends of ours. Our expectations were exceeded when we noticed how fully stocked and clean this house was. It really has just about all you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. This is an older home that has been updated nicely for the layout. The home decor is fantastic. The living room was equipped with a gas fireplace that we used our entire visit. The dining area has a huge eight seat table. The kitchen has newer appliances and has everything you need for cooking and the fridge has an ice maker. The eat in kitchen has bar stools for the counter and a small table that we used for euchre. All this overlooks the park and channel of Lake Michigan with a wall of windows. The master bedroom is off the kitchen and it is a nice size. The bed is absolutely huge. There is no tv in this room. The attached bathroom is large and the shower pressure is grrrreat. The laundry room is off of that and it is equipped with nice and new appliances, complete with detergent, softener sheets and stain spray. We did a few loads of laundry during our visit. The upstairs has no bathroom so our pals that slept upstairs had to come down to the main bath that is off the kitchen. This is a cute bathroom and actually backs up to the opposite side of master bedroom but we didn't have any issues with sound while they took showers. The bedrooms upstairs do not have tvs. Our pals said they slept comfortably. The downstairs/converted garage has a full bath, a sitting area with an additional full size fridge and a separate bedroom with a bunk bed, two twins and a flat screen TV. All perfect for the kiddos or adults that want privacy. There are a lot of stairs so I would not recommend for people that may have issues. The outdoor area has multiple decks that would be great for warmer months to hang out on. The hot tub, we can't forget the hot tub. We absolutely got our use out of it. Ahhhhhhhh... The smaller back yard has a firepit, picnic table and lawn chairs. Overall, this place was great and the little touches are really appreciated that the owners have put into it for renters to enjoy. We definitely want to come back again. Feel confident with booking this for your next getaway! Thanks again, Pat!"
