  • Family Getaway

"When we arrived the sun was setting and the view from the deck was gorgeous! Perfect size for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids. We were all impressed with how impeccably clean everything was and the perfect amount of toiletries and cleaning supplies were included. The location was ideal right in the middle of sleeping bear dunes. Lunch at Art's Tavern and happy hour at Boondocks was fun too! We had a great time and would love to return!!!"

  • Beautiful spacious condo in the woods- best vacation ever!

"I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful place. Shelly and Dave, you have a wonderful home away from home up in Boyne. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs units for our large family of 10, which includes 3 adult children, 3 teens and 2 younger boys. The bathrooms are elegant and spacious, stocked with hair dryers and tons of fluffy towels. Everybody had a comfortable place to be day and night, more than room enough to have some alone time. The condo is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Beds are comfortable, TV and internet and Verizon coverage terrific. The downstairs unit has more room to cook, but we could have managed in the upstairs unit even for our big group. One tiny suggestion would be more seating for dining, indoors or out, but we managed just fine with both units. Washer and dryer in downstairs unit only was a big plus. The downstairs grill was a lovely summertime addition! The area around the condo is super-private and we had no interaction with any of the other guests other than to see each other getting into our cars. We enjoyed the tennis courts, pool and giant hot tub at the Clock Tower Lodge, walks around the lovely property that is Boyne Mountain, particularly Disciples Ridge where the condo is located. A short drive into Boyne City for whatever you need (try the Boyne City bakery- incredible croissants and danish; Family Fare Supermarket is quite nice), and a pleasant 30 minute car ride up to Charlevoix or Petoskey to enjoy the big lakes (please go to Fisherman's Island State Park in Charlevoix- the Lake Michigan day beach is the most beautiful spot I have ever seen, sparkling water, not crowded, gorgeous!). We hunted for Petoskey stones along the shore and walked/waded out to Fisherman's Island- what a joy. We came back tan, well-rested, and happy. Shelly and Dave, you have been such a pleasure to work with, so responsive and helpful. We had the best family vacation ever, and are already planning for next year. Thank you!!"

  • Exactly what we anticipated

"We enjoyed two weeks of relaxation in this quaint little cabin. The location was perfect for our needs and the cabin truly had everything we could have anticipated that we'd need for the two weeks. The owners were very attentive and even surprised our son with Birthday Balloons upon arrival. It did get quite hot during out stay, but we never needed to turn on the portable AC unit, as the cabin is quite shaded and stayed cool. We would certainly rent this cabin again and would recommend it to our family and friends."

  • Lovely Family Getaway

"The Cabin was perfect for a family with three teenagers. Much more space than the photos and it truly looks like a feature in a home magazine. The home was beautifully staged for our arrival and checkout procedures were minimal. Linda was great to work with and even secretly left a brand new beach cart for our use in the middle of our stay. Lovely backyard area full of birds and small wildlife. The home is stocked with beach towels and beach chairs. Although the closest stop was closed, Linda suggested a hidden stop with a better beach just a few houses down. Lunch at the beach every day and cozy evenings at home made for a wonderful vacation."
