  • The Best Place to Stay in New Orleans!

"Wow!!! My wife and I stayed here for four nights and I can easily say this is the best place we have ever stayed in N.O. We have stayed at "boutique" hotels, upscale hotels, and everywhere in between, but we will definitely try to stay at this house in the future. The house: An immaculate shotgun style home decorated with beautiful artwork and amazing antique furniture throughout. Beautiful hardwood floors and high ceilings plus cold air condition made it comfortable to return to after a day of tourist walking. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook or just chill. There's also a neat backyard to relax for an afternoon drink or morning coffee. The house is furnished with a washer and dryer that was very handy. It is definitely bigger than the pics show! The location: A cool neighborhood where people are very friendly. Literally 2 blocks to Frenchmen St and about a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter. Another bonus: Only one block to the bus route! We bought a 3 day bus pass for a couple of dollars that covers the bus and the streetcar lines. We got to any destination in N.O. in minutes, although our favorite area is Frenchmen St. We got to enjoy all the live music venues without the noise at home. We would definitely recommend this rental for anyone/group looking to enhance their experience in New Orleans!"

  • Fabulous in every way - Stay here!

"We were 3 couples on our first family trip since my brother got married. It was my birthday trip to one of my favorite cities. Both my parents and brother had never been, so I wanted to show them how special NOLA is. The weekend was awesome! We had such a good time and it all started with Greatmen Cottage being our home base for 3 nights. I think we all agreed that we'd love to call this our home. It's beautiful and spacious and comfortable. It's hard to find this kind of private outdoor space in NOLA. My dad and I had long talks over coffee outside while everyone else slept in. My brother woke up the first morning and said, "Damn, that bed is so comfortable." We cooked breakfast each morning in our PJs. We walked all over the neighborhood and visited several of the local spots recommended by the owners. Bacchanal was definitely a hot spot! Markey's was a great local watering hole. It's easy to grab an uber to the Quarter or anywhere else. Greatmen will definitely be on my list next time I visit NOLA or as a recommendation for others going there."

  • Breathtaking House and Gardens

"I wasn't sure what to expect upon our arrival for our stay at this home - the pictures shown are very pretty but in person it's so much more and magical. There were 8 in our group and this house slept all of us easily with room leftover. Michelle had stocked the house with the essentials to get you through until you could go shopping if you planned on cooking at the house which we did and took full advantage of the outside grill cooking steaks, scallops, etc. She even had a bottle of red wine on hand and extra charcoal delivered to us at no charge which shows she goes above and beyond. We enjoyed the outside Gazebo for our dinner and it was simply amazing and quite memorable having dinner with good friends under the sparkling lights and the whole garden area (especially at night) was like something out of a fairytale book. It was extremely helpful being close to everything so if you ran out of something you could simply walk half a block to get ice, beer, etc. and Cooter Browns Bar is also just half a block away which had great food. The streetcar was so fun to take to Bourbon Street or other very cool bars along the way (Blind Pelican being one) with everyone and extremely affordable - not to mention it is the longest of New Orleans' streetcar lines, the St. Charles Avenue line, is the oldest continuously operating street railway system in the world with it appears to be original cars. Thanks Michelle and to all of your staff for making amazing memories for my friends and myself. Would love to come back again."

  • Bang for your Buck

"The house is gorgeous and clean. The owners could not be nicer or more accommodating. It is walking distance to Bourbon Street or a $5 uber ride. I stayed at the house with 11 other ladies for a bachelorette weekend. This was the only place I could find that had lots of bathrooms, and with 12 ladies, lots of bathrooms is a must. I highly recommend renting this house."
