  • New Orleans Get Away

"What an awesome home. I felt like I was in a 5-Star hotel. Everything from the bed, linens, towels, cups, plates, bowls, glasses were top of the line. The home is totally kid friendly. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus for us since we had kids with us. The big pots and skillets were perfect since we chose to stay in a cook red beans and rice New Orleans style. We were able to eat together at the 8-seat dining room table. This is a well cared for home. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and we felt super safe. I recommend this home to anyone."

  • Excellent

"Great place to stay for a large group. There is tons of room for everyone to hang out including a large living room with bar, outdoor patio and huge game room in the back. Good location with many places within walking distance or a short car ride."

  • Wonderful

"My family of 7 stayed here for the week of 4th of July as we toured New Orleans and we had a blast! I can't say enough great things about Debbie and the property. About 40 minute scenic drive into New Orleans. The accommodations were excellent and great quality. There was plenty of room, enough towels, paper towels and toilet paper. The view of the bay at sunrise and sunset were amazing! Lastly, throughout the booking process, Debbie was easy to deal with and very kind. This property is a hidden jewel that you will be sure to enjoy!"

  • NOLA: "Sultry and Seductive"

"Imagine a New Orleans gem strategically located in the heart of one of the most vibrant local communities, the Garden District. This beautiful 1850 original 2 story home is conveniently located off St Charles in a residential neighborhood, where the street cars provide transportation throughout the city. We purchased the Jazzy passes, which gave us unlimited use of both the street car and city wide bus systems; we did not feel a need to rent a car. We were able to access all of the special attractions, such as the National World War II Museum (a must!) to Bourbon Street/French Quarter, the Garden District and City Park. There are local neighborhood markets, restaurants, and other businesses along St Charles within walking distance. We recently rented the property for two weeks in May 2016; we were a party of five adults, who chose to combine our family vacation in conjunction with a national nursing conference and we certainly weren’t disappointed. There are multiple entertaining areas within the home; including a well - designed kitchen and a nice courtyard which was very relaxing and a great spot to enjoy morning coffee. From the moment we opened the door, we immediately knew that this was a unique property. The pictures on the VRBO site don't capture the incredible 14' ceilings and hardwood throughout. The house is nicely furnished, clean, and perfectly met our needs. We were particularly impressed by the thoughtful provisions that were supplied upon our arrival; champagne and orange juice for mimosas, along with a tray of incredible assorted muffins, baked locally. The kitchen was well maintained and we made use of the large gas stove and other features. All bedrooms were upstairs; each was spacious and contained antique furniture. Security features included an alarm system and an available safe. The owners, Conrad and Linda, were very accessible and helpful. I would seriously consider making another trip to NOLA; I would stay at this property and highly recommend it to all."
