  • I loved every minute of it

"Everything was wonderful. The condo was beautiful, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, updated bath, and a pool! It was a wonderful experience I would recommend this condo to anyone and would definitely stay there again It was a central location to anywhere in the French Quarter"

  • Quiet, Quaint and Cozy!

"I will admit, I was never one to write reviews, but I have realized how helpful they are and to be honest now I hesitate to stay anywhere that does not have review! With that being said this property was very nice. The neighborhood was quiet, the house was so cute we loved every bit of our stay. The house has everything you need for your stay, it was like a home away from home. It was not far from the French Quarter and other places we chose to visit. The owners were very friendly and helpful....thanks guys! We would definitely stay here again, and hopefully it's soon! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

  • Great French Quarter Get Away

"We met another couple down in the French Quarter for 4 days, and this place was fantastic for our needs. It has a great location, and Lee is a great hostess. She was just across the courtyard, available for any questions we had, and left us to our own devices, outside of a few recommendations when we arrived. Check in and out instructions were clearly communicated, and we had everything we needed (toilet paper, towels, etc.) in the place itself. There is a full kitchen, though we only utilized the fridge and freezer, and the bedrooms are quite nice, upstairs. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was superior anything in a hotel. The only word of caution I will provide is to agree with other reviewers about the staircase: it is super steep, super narrow, and the stair steps are very shallow. People with mobility issues (which included us after drinking on Bourbon St.) may have issues with the stairs. The AC works great, and felt great after roaming the French Quarter in the summer heat. There is a convenience store one block away on Burgundy, and Bourbon St. is within stumbling distance. Our friends drove their car down and used Lee's parking pass, but we did not drive at all. We walked the entire time and it was perfect. We would not only recommend this place, we plan to stay again in the future. Oh, also, because so many other reviews have mentioned him, Elliot the dog is adorable and charming. He likes to visit, but knows when to leave. My type'a dog. :)"

  • Perfect Place to Call Home in The French Quarter

"This was our third visit to New Orleans and our first opportunity to stay at "Down on Dauphine" and we couldn't be happier with the beautiful accommodations and the outstanding service shared with us by Brad and his staff. While the photos on line are beautiful, they still fall short of the overall comfort, charm and ambiance that is 734 Dauphine. Brad was absolutely fantastic and worked with us as we had to change our original travel plans due to medical issues that arose. He was both understanding and compassionate about our situation and made us feel special and appreciated. Our stay from 6/15/16 to 6/22/16 was truly the best time we have had while staying in NOLA and when we return, the ONLY place for us to stay is "Down on Dauphine". Brad communicated with us on numerous occasions and shared restaurant and entertainment suggestions and even made a point to call us the second day of our stay to make sure we were doing well and if there was anything he could help us with at that point. The location is fantastic and you can walk to anywhere in The Quarter or even to Frenchmen Street with little or no real effort at all. If you're coming to New Orleans do yourself a favor and stay at this beautiful home. I would go as far as changing the dates of my visit to make sure I had the chance to make this my home during my stay. Thank You so much Brad for ALL you did for us and we will always make this our home on any visit to New Orleans. Gary & Kathie Anderson"
