  • Highly recommended!

"We thoroughly enjoyed Julia's home, very comfortable and immaculately clean. Having 2 full bathrooms was great. We really appreciated how accessible Julia was, and how quickly she responded to our many questions by phone or email. The location is just terrific for getting onto the Canal St. streetcar - both to Jackson Sq and City Park (and the fairgrounds if you're going to Jazz Fest like we did). If you have a car, being in this part of Mid-City is also great - easy to get to most parts of greater New Orleans from this central location. We really enjoyed being in a "real" neighborhood, where folks hang out on their front porch and say "hello" as they pass you on the sidewalk. We highly recommend a stay in Julia's home - we'd come back in a heartbeat!"

  • Everything you need, and then more.

"We've used Homeaway extensively and have never been in an apt that has been as adequately provided for as this one. Jodi's apt has all the conveniences of home but with an abundance of supplies. We had twenty + towels and matching wash clothes, enough soap, detergent, etc, for a month's stay (we were here 17 days). We had a slight problem with the air and it was taken care of immediately. The service was great. The apartment was spacious with two large bathrooms, comfortable bedding, and large closets (a must for my wife and I). The Lower Garden district is a short walk to Magazine St, the hip part of the Garden district, but a long walk to the French Quarter. Plenty of cabs and even more Uber drivers in the neighborhood made getting around easy. A great value stay and a great hostess. Dennis &Vikki."

  • Great NOLA SPOT!

"My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at this house recently. It is EXACTLY as advertised, right in the center of Frenchman, great clubs, dining, and people watching day or night. A very short walk to the French Quarter and all that is Bourbon Street. Our hosts were more than welcoming and we would highly recommend this property to anyone whether visiting for the tenth time or your first. T"

  • You won't be disappointed! 5 stars!!

"We had a group come in for jazz fest this year. We range from age 24-52 and everyone was more than satisfied. She had a delicious pot of red beans and rice when we arrived, which hit the spot after a 5 hour drive. The house is accommodated perfectly with necessities. She has a ton of info at the house to help you navigate the city and make the most out of your visit. Her customer service is out of this world. I had just asked if she happened to have hot sauce available and when she said no she had some waiting for me the next morning attached to the door! She was so hospitable. Staying here definitely completed our experience and made it that much more enjoyable. This rental is great for anyone looking to enjoy the city for whatever reason!!"
