  • Fantastic location, property, and owners!

"My husband and I just had a great stay in New Orleans, thanks in large part to the fantastic property we happened upon! The location is great, right outside the Quarter, very close to Frenchmen for great music, local restaurants are good and easy to get to, everything is very walkable, even at night! The home is quite a bit larger than we expected. After staying in various hotels on our road trip over to NOLA we got used to having little space, so it was especially nice to be able to spread out and relax a bit more. The home is well appointed, with very nice linens and towels, as well as all the necessities. A little above and beyond was the great coffee provided as well as the warm and friendly reception we received from Ron and the care he takes to get you acquainted with the property and the neighborhood, where to go, with maps to show everything, such a nice touch! As noted, Ron will always be there for you should you need him, but he will not bother you with anything while you are there, you really feel like the place is your home away from home. The hot tub was an added bonus as was the kitchen which was appointed with refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven. We had everything that we could possibly need, even a Brita in the fridge for cold, fresh water, a treat after all the adventuring we were doing! Cable TV and Internet were very nice to have, but did not get used much since there is so much else to do in the area! One of our fave extras was Titi, the very friendly and sweet cat that stopped by to see us every so often, we looked forward to our visits! Do not miss out on this amazing gem of a property and owner! We cannot wait to plan our next trip!"

  • Amazing Place

"Went down for a bachelor party with 8 guys (all in our 30s), and this place was perfect. Chuck got us all set up, and the house was amazing. 7BRs and a great brick patio in the back. Location was perfect: ~ 5 min walk from Frenchmen St and ~ 15 min walk from Bourbon St. Highly recommend!"

  • Great NOLA house with perfect location!

"We had a girls' trip to NOLA and stayed at this great house. Plenty of room especially the kitchen/den area. We were celebrating two birthdays so the open design made it great for making drinks and decorating the table with cake and snacks. The property owners were easy to work with and very helpful. Uber & Lyft were the perfect option for getting rides to and from wherever we wanted to go. We even walked to a quaint restaurant down the street called The Franklin for oysters and martinis! We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Our oasis

"I will start with the pros we absolutley loved coming home to the little purple house after the hot and or rainy days in New Orleans. The hot tub ( warm actually) and pool were something to look forward to every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our little oasis for the week! It is very private. We loved Cake Cafe which is only three doors down! The shrimp omelet, muschroom gravy and biscuits, and $1 cupcaked with a meal. (The best being the wedding cake) were fantastic! It is a cute little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Yummy!!! There are several restaurants within walking distance, however several are pricey! The french quarter is within walking distance for most, however with my pain level it is not doable. Plus the heat can be totally overwhelming! The flowers in the area are beautiful! There are always beautiful birds and a couple of squirrels to take pictures of. We also had some pretty butterflies!! That said...the cons. The sheets were dirty. Not a huge deal for us since i have allergies and always bring our own. The house could use some tlc. There is no washer and dryer. There are tags everywhere, which in my opinion from being married to a cop, means gang activity. I do think they are beautifup in some cases, however i did have some issues with not feeling safe. Not necessarily, on the block, but within close vicinity. My love said he did. Definitely be aware of your surroundings. The parking situation is not favorable! Neither of us see any reason to return to the area. The oasis in the backyard was definitely both of our favorite thing!! New Orleans it's self was not!! We did enjoy the sno balls at Snow wizzard. He enjoyed food at Eat at Melbas and a few other places.. We liked the French Market. The tree of life in a park i can not remember waa amazing. Take time to walk out to it and look underneath. You have to use more than one setting on the camera to get good pics fyi. The New Orleans Park was great too! The sculpture garden was pretty cool!! I so looked forward to my cupcake at cake cafe every day!!! That i will miss!!!"
