  • Lovely Stay in New Orleans!

"The Bouligny House was wonderful! It was perfect for our group, such a beautiful home! I spent 4 nights in Nola with a group for my fiance's 30th birthday and the house exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room and privacy for the 8 of us - 3 couples and 2 single ladies, who each took a trundle bed. The location was amazing, super central and walking distance to Frenchman St, Bourbon St, and even the Bywater. Mike the caretaker was great, gave us local recommendations & made sure the AC was working properly - which was key in the 95 degree June heat! The backyard was huge and lovely. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Nola!"

  • Fantastic Rental!

"My family and I recently stayed at this vacation rental, what a great location! It was easy booking and the person who booked us was fantastic. Once I was given the information for the house, I contacted the property manager. He called me back within a few hours to explain the check-in process and describe the house. This place is huge! My husband and I brought our 3 kids (all under 8) down for 3 weeks. I had read all the reviews and almost all of them were great so I was hopeful the house would live up to the previous reviews. And it did! The place was clean and well set up. The beds were all new, the kitchen was spotless and bathrooms were well stocked. The fridge did not have creamer or snacks (as per a recent reviewer who complained the owners did provide food) but as per my experience, places do not usually have food. This is something you bring on your own. There are several stores nearby plus a local co-op that has everything! The internet worked great, and this was important since both of us were working while here. The internet worked great but was spotty at times in the back bedroom. This wasn’t a huge issue since connection in the kitchen/dining room and upstairs was really fast. The kids all stayed upstairs on the futon and in the second bedroom. The adjacent bath was great; a bit older but worked quite well. Plenty of towels, blankets and sheets to go around! The stairs seem to be original but our 3-year-old managed like a pro! The living room was quite clean, tidy and smelled freshly laundered. The neighborhood is quite eccentric with a cooking school on the corner and stables across the street. I read a few reviews that said the stables were undesirable but in my opinion, they keep the street safer. They always had lights on with activity on the stable grounds all throughout the night! There are several awesome restaurants all within walking distance (Praline Connection, Horn’s, Buffa’s, for example). It took my kids about 10 minutes to walk to the French quarter (roughly 3-4 blocks depending on your direction). There is a new kid/dog park as soon as you walk into the FQ, it provided hours of fun!! Live music at the Spotted Cat was worth the 5-minute walk! All in all, we had a wonderful trip and cannot wait to do this again next year! Things to remember, New Orleans is funky, old and unique. Nothing is cookie-cutter which is what makes it great! Things may be a bit different but enjoy it!"

  • Perfect location, great atmosphere, easy to explor

"My family and I chose the Frenchmen area to be close enough to the French Quarter to enjoy all that it has to offer and enjoy more of the local flavor and music that isn't entirely touristy. The Frenchmen is where it's at. This apartment has the best corner balcony overlooking the street which is plenty large enough for groups either relaxing at the table and chairs or enjoying the party down below with your own up above. The apartment is large enough to comfortably host and enjoy a family if you choose to spend time in the apartment or if the weather turns nasty. You are right above a little mini mart for provisions and down the street from some of the best bars with the best music (much better than the Quarter) and with great food. The Frenchmen is a loud street at night, but once we were home late at night the music just rocks you to sleep and with windows and doors closed the noise drowns away. The location is also perfect for catching an uber or cab on the corner of Esplanade and makes it easy to get pretty much anywhere in the city. Location is also great if you want to walk the riverfront or catch the trolley down towards the French Market, Aquarium, or Casino. Host is easily reachable if an odd question comes up. Wifi works, security doors and gates make you feel safe and the air conditioning can save you on a hot day. We cannot thank the host enough and recommend anyone looking to stay here on Frenchmen."

  • Excellent

"Great place to stay for a large group. There is tons of room for everyone to hang out including a large living room with bar, outdoor patio and huge game room in the back. Good location with many places within walking distance or a short car ride."
