  • Amazing home in outstanding location!

"Pleasantville was absolutely amazing! The owner had champagne ready for us when we arrived. The house itself was beautiful and impeccably decorated. There was fast wifi and TV's in every room as well as a great front porch and secure parking. The house is located one block from Magazine St. which made it extremely easy to walk to numerous restaurants and bars. Surprisingly, the location was very quiet for being so close to Magazine St. I cannot say enough about how great this house and owner were and we cannot wait to book our next stay at Pleasantville."

  • The house was great! Exactly as described and quieter than I imagined for being in the city.

"The accommodations exceeded my expectations! I have never rented I this site before, so I wasn't sure what it would be like. It was everything I would expect from a hotel with all the comforts of a home. The hair dryer, iron, and ironing board were all pleasant finds as I had taken for granted the fact that we were not staying in a hotel. There was even parking right in front of the house. This is a wonderful place for anyone wanting to explore New Orleans and have a quiet place away from the night life when you're ready to sleep. The owner also provided many suggestions of where to visit for particular foods. I recommend going to as many as you can, because I was pleased with everywhere we went!"

  • Great Location and Gracious Ambiance

"Four couples enjoyed this property immensely. Our marathoner was in heaven being on the park for morning runs, while the rest of us strolled and enjoyed the flora and fauna. The street car is close so you can get to all sites while still being in a beautiful residential and quiet neighborhood. The house itself is outfitted well. It has two very large suites with their own bathrooms. The lower level has two smaller bedrooms that share a bath. Large garage. My only complaint (s) are that the kitchen utensils are minimal (no large(r) mixing bowls or platters) and the supplies (paper towels, dishwashing soap etc.) ran out on our first few days. I did have to get in touch with Jenny because it seems that one of the guests before us absconded with all but one of the blow dryers (empty boxes remained). She was responsive by text but was unable to resupply. But the house was gorgeous, clean and so well appointed otherwise, these are minor details."

  • House has everything you need and is newly renovated

"We stayed here over Thanksgiving. We were a group of 7 and the house was perfect for us. There are two separate bedrooms and then two queen beds that share an open room. The house was newly renovated and they did a terrific job on the renovation. The house is perfectly stocked with everything you need. There is even a back porch that is nice and quiet to sit out on. The location is ok and you are about a 20 minute walk to most of the tourist areas in the French Quarter. There is a small grocery store a few blocks away and Treme Coffee is just around the corner. If the walk is too much as it was for our in-laws, Uber is very easy and readily available. The owners are very responsive for any of your needs and were very accommodating as we had a late flight on our departure day."
