"I and eight of my friends rented this lovely property in New Orleans. we really enjoyed ourselves. The house was spotless, in a nice neighbor hood also stores, restaurants and gas stations . were near by. It was only four miles from the French Quarter and down town. We had lots of room. five bath rooms. Plenty of parking off the street. Felicia we thank you. See you the next time. Thanks from Bill,Max, Hamp, Leroy, Timber(Big Ronnie), Terry, Keith and Tony. • Fabulous Mardi Gras stay!

"We had such a wonderful time at this nicely renovated and ideally located apartment on Napoleon Ave. Our gracious hosts- Monika and Carl- went out of their way to ensure every detail of our stay was exceptional -from the local tips on the best neighborhood restaurants to Monika's delicious New Orleans dishes catered for our group. As a New Orleans native myself- I highly recommend this home away from home for a uniquely Nola experience!"

  • Beautiful house in a great location.

"We stayed in this beautiful house for three nights with our family. There were 6 adults and 5 children. There was plenty of space and the small children slept comfortably on the couch bed. Pros: the location was convenient to all of the attractions. We took the street car all the way to the French Quarter (this was fun, but make sure you allot around 45 minutes because it makes frequent stops). We loved that the house was decorated in an upscale modern decor with nice touches. The house came with plenty of towels and extra bed linens, washing detergent, paper towels, trash bags, etc. There was plenty of parking and we were able to easily use Uber one night. The backyard area was nice and we spent some time hanging out in that space. There is not a grill or outside lights, but that was no big deal. Our one and only recommendation is that the owners provide more pots and pans for people who want to cook. We cooked dinner at the house 2 out of 3 of the nights. There weren't any baking sheets and what they had was minimal. This wasn't a big deal but we probably would have packed a few pots and pans since we were cooking for 11 people. Overall, we highly recommend this property. The owners were very friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. The place was in great shape and in a good location. It might be fun for the owners to buy a guest book so that people can write positive reviews and give suggestions on what they did (maybe they have one, we didn't see it). If we did it again, we probably would have stayed a couple more days. We had so much fun and didn't get to see everything that was on our list. Some of our trip highlights included eating beignets at Cafe Beignet, eating famous charbroiled oysters at Dragos, going to the WW 2 museum (4 adults, one 14 year old boy), going to the Insectarium/Butterfly Museum (2 adults, 2-3 year olds, 7, 8 year old), going to Storyland Park (good for smaller children), going to the zoo, and the aquarium."

  • Beautiful apartment and great host!

"We stayed in the downstairs apartment which was absolutely adorable and the perfect size for me and my husband. The neighborhood is very nice and Magazine street has a lot of different restaurants and shops. The trolley is only a short walk away and the bus will pick up right in front so getting to other areas was easy. We were in town (for Mardi Gras) with a group of people that were staying closer to the quarter so our only regret was that we didn't get to spend more time enjoying this place and exploring the surrounding neighborhood. Juan was a great host and we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting New Orleans."
