  • Lovely Condo in Quiet Setting

"My daughter and I stayed in Joe's condo for six nights and seven days. He was very responsive to my questions prior to my arrival, so much so that when he learned my daughter and I were allergic to feathers he purchased two new foam pillows for our use. Joe met me at the condo and showed me how to work the gate, the appliances and TVs. The condo is a short 20 minute drive to downtown New Orleans, via Interstate 10. The condo is located in a very secure setting with gated access, free parking in a secure garage, views of Lake Pontchartrain from the club house, and a pool and hot tub, both of which we were unable to enjoy because we spent most of our time downtown. This condo is perfect for three people and has all the amenities one needs. Although there is only one queen size bed, the chaise lounge in the living room serves as a comfortable bed alternative. My daughter said it was very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and I served a roast beef dinner for four one of the nights we stayed in. Although there is no kitchen table, per se, there is enough other seating, as well as tray tables to utilize to make for a comfortable seating and eating arrangement. Joe's recommendation of Muriel's restaurant was a big hit. I wish I was able to stay longer as my son said the nearby restaurants to the condo are quite good. As my son lives in New Orleans I plan to return and will definitely stay in Joe's condo again. My experience was memorable and relaxing due in no small measure to Joe's beautiful condo and hospitality."

  • Graduation Excellence!

"My family and I stayed in this beautifully decorated, clean and spacious apartment. It served us perfectly for we were in town for Tulane University's graduation 2016. The rooms were not only comfortable, they were very spacious. All linens, bath towels and accessories were included along with laundry items.I loved the idea of a full washer/dryer available for our use. The kitchen was stocked with many cooking utensils and spices etc. The owners were pleasant and respectful. We were able to communicate with them at ease, they were most forthcoming with information when we requested it. The unit is perfectly located for any and all of NOLA's experiences! We would love to be able to come and stay again and highly recommend . For the most part, we parked our vehicles and ubered all over town. We were able to meet some very personable and lovely people with interesting backgrounds and offered us great tips on NOLA."

  • Lovely Stay in New Orleans!

"The Bouligny House was wonderful! It was perfect for our group, such a beautiful home! I spent 4 nights in Nola with a group for my fiance's 30th birthday and the house exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room and privacy for the 8 of us - 3 couples and 2 single ladies, who each took a trundle bed. The location was amazing, super central and walking distance to Frenchman St, Bourbon St, and even the Bywater. Mike the caretaker was great, gave us local recommendations & made sure the AC was working properly - which was key in the 95 degree June heat! The backyard was huge and lovely. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Nola!"

  • Not exactly home away from home....but it worked!

"The home owner was very nice and easy to work with regarding reservations and entry to the home. The location was in a nice neighborhood not to far from the French Quarters, convention center and Super dome, we were there for the Essence Festival. We used Lyft to get around the entire trip. Unfortunately due to construction of the neighborhood a couple of the Lyft drivers were turned around. The house is close to several nice restaurants a grocery store and a Walgreens. The pictures of the house are accurate, I think it needs a little updating but I guess it served its purpose however the picture of bathroom did not show much and upon our arrival the bathroom was not very clean, the toilet and tub were pretty nasty and the shower curtain and rod needs to be replaced. We decided to walk over to the nearby market and purchased air freshener, bleach and gloves and cleaned the bathroom. The kitchen was fairly clean but it appears that the previous guest left old ice and misc. items in the fridge and freezer (we cleaned that as well) the house lost points because we had to do the cleaning yet we were charged a cleaning fee up front also the TV didn't work and so we were stuck listening to an older model radio. I know we didn't vacation to watch TV but it would have been nice to catch the news. I suggest anyone staying there to take your own linens, pillows, sheets and etc. Overall I was satisfied with my stay, it was my first time renting a rental home and I will admit it's nothing like a 4 star hotel but we made it work for us! It was truly an experience. Thanks Sid!"
