  • Incredible place, perfect rental!

"Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location awesome and so many great places within walking distance. Stayed with our 7 and 9 year olds, they enjoyed Slice Pizza and District Donuts around the corner. House was neat, spacious, clean and stocked with more basics than I would ever expect. Parking was always available. We booked only 1 day in advance and everything was taken care of and ready for us the next day. Will definitely stay here again."

  • Mardi Gras - Perfect location

"This is our 2nd time staying at this property for Mardi Gras. It is a comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment located in the 2-story section of a camelback shotgun house. Most of the parades are literally right at the end of the street on Napoleon. Tipitina's concert venue is also right around the corner as is Rouse's supermarket - all within walking distance. Magazine Street is located a short walk away and filled with restaurants and shops. Parking on the street hasn't been a problem. The owners are great to work with and very accommodating. We once again enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property for any time of year!"

  • Wonderful place. Great location. Just right for 2 people for a weekend.

"This is a gem. Not luxurious, but quite nice, with all the necessary amenities. Clean as a whistle. Total privacy. Quiet except for the distant sound of the streetcar as it passes through the neighborhood, which was kind of ice, IMO. Plenty of towels. Washer/dryer came in handy. Full kitchen, and although we didn't cook, it looked like one could turn out a real meal there. The table inside is too small for more than 2, but there is a bigger table on the patio. Very comfortable bed. Lovely patio. Stunning neighborhood. Great location off St. Charles, easy walk to Magazine Street. We rented bikes for the stay from Mike's Bike shop on Magazine, which worked well, although Uber comes very fast, even on a Jazzfest weekend. We hope to return. My only comment would be that it could use some instructions on the TV (3 remotes!), AC (we couldn't find a thermostat and the AC on and off somewhat mysteriously and was a little too cold at times), and WIFI (we were slow to find the PW taped on the side of the fridge). Very minor issues."

  • Breathtaking House and Gardens

"I wasn't sure what to expect upon our arrival for our stay at this home - the pictures shown are very pretty but in person it's so much more and magical. There were 8 in our group and this house slept all of us easily with room leftover. Michelle had stocked the house with the essentials to get you through until you could go shopping if you planned on cooking at the house which we did and took full advantage of the outside grill cooking steaks, scallops, etc. She even had a bottle of red wine on hand and extra charcoal delivered to us at no charge which shows she goes above and beyond. We enjoyed the outside Gazebo for our dinner and it was simply amazing and quite memorable having dinner with good friends under the sparkling lights and the whole garden area (especially at night) was like something out of a fairytale book. It was extremely helpful being close to everything so if you ran out of something you could simply walk half a block to get ice, beer, etc. and Cooter Browns Bar is also just half a block away which had great food. The streetcar was so fun to take to Bourbon Street or other very cool bars along the way (Blind Pelican being one) with everyone and extremely affordable - not to mention it is the longest of New Orleans' streetcar lines, the St. Charles Avenue line, is the oldest continuously operating street railway system in the world with it appears to be original cars. Thanks Michelle and to all of your staff for making amazing memories for my friends and myself. Would love to come back again."
