  • Great location - GREAT Condo

"If you want to experience New Orleans and the Bourbon Street area, this is the place. 1/2 block off Bourbon, you get to be one of those people who have a key to just a plain old (but cool) door. The condo sits above a couple of restaurants and next to a hotel and it is "very" old but well maintained and beautiful. It's on at least the Third floor (many many steps) and has a large beautiful balcony overlooking all the action. There are 2 floors (so more steps) with one bedroom suite "up". So be prepared to lug your suitcases. Believe it or not, the noise level in the bedrooms was minimal. Everything was immaculate. Beds were comfortable and the decor was beautiful. There were 2 couples, consisting of me and my husband, and then my father and his wife. The porch is authentic with gas lights. The pictures on the website are accurate and capture the condo well. My dad (who is 86) became ill, so I can also give Tulane Medical Center 5 stars), but the condo was roomy, two couples can easily stay and have privacy.....and enjoy staying like a local! I would stay here again, and the owners were great to work with!"

  • Wonderful space, perfect location

"This cottage is a great space - very clean and comfortable for the three of us who stayed for a long weekend. The location is great! Beautiful and safe neighborhood and just a quick ten minute ride to anywhere we wanted to explore. There is also a great area within walking distance that offers a few restaurants, a coffee shop, wine bar and grocery store. Mike and Greg were wonderful - very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again during our next trip to New Orleans. Highly recommended!"

  • Heart of the French Quarter, New Orleans at it's Best

"On a recent girls weekend we stayed on the first floor of this wonderful home. Everything was perfect, from the beautiful décor, chef's kitchen, comfy beds and luscious courtyard. This is one of the several times I have stayed in this home. Each time I return, I love it even more! In the mornings, enjoy your coffee on the quiet, secluded back porch overlooking the beautiful courtyard with it's blooming flowers, luscious greenery and a lime tree loaded with fruit, excellent with a sip of Patron. The home is lavishly decorated and has all of the modern conveniences but still maintains the beauty of the era it was erected. The location is perfect and allows easy access to everything in the quarter, while providing a safe, quiet retreat to rest and recharge. One of my favorite things is to sit on the stoop of the doorway and visit with folks walking by, locals and visitors alike. You will surely end the day with engaging conversations and new friends. As the carriages pass by, this home will be one of the historical topics for the tour guides to colorfully introduce to visitors. I cannot say enough good things about this home. We will be returning in October to celebrate the wedding of our daughter in the private courtyard with our family and friends. This is a true New Orleans experience and I assure you, you will not be disappointed! As for the owners, Bob and Samantha, they are the kindest, most accommodating hosts you could ask for. True southern charm, spectacular accommodations and an experience you will never forget. I can't wait for our next visit!!"
