  • Renovated Cottage with the Perfect Uptown Location

"My husband and I stayed here last weekend. It is the perfect location in uptown. We walked to La Boulangerie for breakfast one morning (yummy pastries, quiche and coffee). Surry's is another another great place for breakfast right around the corner, for a more traditional New Orleans breakfast. Appolline is right around the corner and is great place for a nice dinner and cocktails. The cottage is situated right off of Magazine street, near restaurants, galleries, shops, etc. We felt very safe here. The lighting around the cottage is great and the gate locks. Bonus: the king bed was SUPER COMFY!!!!! This is the perfect place for a solo traveler or 2 people. It was nice having the full kitchen and living room. Everything is super clean and updated."

  • Classy & Cool Magazine St vacation home fave

"Came to New Orleans for a bachelor party with a handful of pretty well-traveled old guys looking to for a place to stay for the weekenod that was a cut above the cookie cutter over-branded hotel chains and we found Mr and Mrs Asturias' Magazine Street trendy yet comfortable vacation hangout. This place was perfect--from the lit-up rooftop gazebo overlooking the heart of the Magazine vibe, to the 2.5 story outdoor spiral staircase. They were both very gracious and laid back. Mr Juan gave us a very hospitable tour and offered full access to his very classy pad. Mrs Asturias' decorating choices are top notch...pretty cool touches. I will get the word on this place. Thanks for the excellent stay and for being gracious hosts. They've restored my faith in the idea of started and having fun with a vacation income property."

  • Left My Heart In NOLA

"My two best girlfriends and I booked this cute little house on Willow to spend New Year's Eve last month. There was more than enough room inside for the 3 of us, and the inside was decorated SO fabulously; we fell in love the instant we walked in the front door. Every morning when we had breakfast, we seriously felt as if we were inside a gorgeous hotel room in the French Quarter. Lucky for us though, the house was a short 15-minute drive from all that crazy downtown traffic, allowing us to escape away to our cozy neighborhood whenever we wanted. Even as 3 young women, we felt very safe walking to the local restaurants in the evening. And as cliche as it sounds, any neighbors we passed on the way were helpful, welcoming, and made you feel right at home. It truly was the New Orleans experience that everybody should have, but often don't. Me and my friends highly recommend this house to anyone looking to explore this magical city, and want a little slice of heaven to home to in the evening. The only negative I have to say about this property is that your heart will hurt when you have to give the keys back!"

  • The house was so lovely and cozy and well-maintained.

"We had an absolutely wonderful time. The owners are extremely nice and kind and helpful and thanks to them we felt immediately at home. The Uptown neighborhood is terrific and filled with great shops and places to eat. Beautiful Audubon Park is just two short streets away. The house is a true gem!"
