"Not really THRILLED with this place. It felt a little dirty and awkward, like we were staying in someone's home while they were away Location was great, price was very good. The home is cool and comfortable. We are a married couple, but 4 could stay here, if you don't mind a futon. Overall, on a scale of terrible to incredibly awesome, I would give it a meh. With a little work, it could be really great!"

  • Clean spacious quiet but well located.

"We had ample space in the 3+ bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Great backyard and upper deck. Master bathroom jacuzi bath was a treat. Kitchen was very well equiped. We were never too far from any attractions. And a step away from the trolley. Oak street is charming just round the corner. Central heat and air. Responsive management. Good matresses. Crisp linnens and giid blankets. Freshly painted house. Enjoy!"

  • Lovely home and fabulous location!

"The upstairs apartment was comfortable. Very nice sittingroom, kitchen and master bedroom. Small bedroom needs a new mattress in a big way! If you are using the interior stairs to go to the first floor be very careful! They are steep and long with only about a third of the way having a handrail! The trolley is noisy but a joy to have just a few yards away."

  • Fantastic House and Location

"Our family of 6 stayed here and had a wonderful time. The house is very roomy and well appointed, with Brandon and his maintenance person readily available if needed. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained; we saw nothing "shady" during any of our many walks. The location is close (within walking distance) to really neat, "local" restaurants, bars and shopping. Everyone we met was very nice and gave us helpful tips about the area - "local" things to see and do. The street car stop was a short walk away and a very convenient way to get to Magazine Street, the Garden District, French Quarter, etc. Roberts Grocery is at the end of the line at South Claiborne & South Carrollton Streets. I recommend buying the 24 hour pass for $3.00 and hop on and off as much as you like. The area is amazing! We really enjoyed Brandon's house and will stay there in the future. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans."
