"The owner of this property couldn't have more on target regarding this property. Clean, well appointed, convenient and as comfortable as we could have hoped. If you need a home away from home and don't want to be in the noise of the tourist sections of New Orleans this is as good as it gets. We loved our week here and would go back if the opportunity arises. Great VRBO experience!"

  • Spring getaway in NOLA!!

"My wife and I, absolutely loved this unit! It was spotless when we checked in! The unit layout, and accommodations were amazing! Private balcony! Beautiful, and immaculately maintained pool area! Quiet location! We were shocked at how being only 1 block off Decatur was soo quiet! We will try to stay here, every time we come back to New Orleans! And the owner, Ms. Linda, is a total sweetheart too!"

  • Great location!

"My husband and I decided to go back to New Orleans (we visited in 2014) and couldn't decide where to stay. My co worker told us about VRBO (we had never used it before). After looking around for hours, I found this little gem. I knew where it was situated from our earlier visits there and decided it looked clean and convenient so we chose this place. We booked and the customer service was good right from the start. I got a message from the owners to e-mail them if I had any questions before our trip and that I could call them if needed, when in town or in an emergent situation or with any questions during the trip. I swapped several e-mails with them, addressed any concerns and they allowed us to store our bags until about 3 on the day of our departure. They even offered to let us store them longer since there was no same day turn around. I would give them 5 stars just based on this. The location is fantastic. It's on Bourbon Street, but far away enough to not be interrupted all night from noise and shenanigans. It is close to Frenchman Street also and the locals in the area make it comfortable to stay there. I never felt insecure in the area, my husband stood outside to vape and talk to the neighbors and they were nice and welcoming. I saw others say they took Uber or a cab to places but we walked everywhere. To fancy dinners, nice museums, the riverwalk outlets, the CBD. It is that close to everything. The actual unit is small, very small. I like my privacy so I feel like more than two people would be crowded but if you bring a child or if it's 3-4 girlfriends or guys, I could see how that can work. There's the loft with a bed and the futon. The loft didn't feel uncomfortable to get up and down from and the bed is comfortable, there were plenty of pillows and the bedding was clean. There is a small closet with a plethora of hangers that also has 2 pairs of rain boots and a broom and dust pan. There was a 2 person kitchen table, a microwave, dishes, kitchen sink, coffee maker and all that good stuff. There's an AC/heating unit that works well, the TV was small but also worked well. The bathroom, well, it's tiny. Very small and very clean. If you're very tall or a larger person, it would be uncomfortable to use but it suited my husband and I just fine. I would recommend this rental for anyone, if the description I gave above works for you. It's clean and convenient and I absolutely loved it. I really hope you do, too!"

  • Wonderful Experience!

"We enjoyed our stay very much! There were five of us and only one had been to New Orleans before. The location is great because Magazine offers much in the way of restaurants, bars and shops. The streetcar is within walking distance of the property, as well. We used Uber to get to Bourbon Street. We loved everything about the house. The decor is great! We love the way the place is decorated. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and we had everything we needed. There's a nice kitchen, but we just never used it. The back yard is also so pretty! I do recommend bringing only one car because there is only a space for one, and parking can be a challenge everywhere in the city. Thank you for a great stay!"
