  • Absolutely LOVED this place, Perfect Location!

"I'm still recovering from the this past weekend in New Orleans, not because I drank too much but because how awesome it was to be so centrally located right in the middle of all the action the French Quarter has to offer. This original Shotgun-style duplex was just perfect. On Saturday night instead of going out we had about 10 people on the porch swing and stoop just enjoying the gorgeous oak trees across the street on the Esplanade. For those people worried about not having a shower, don't worry and do what we did. Go to the Lush store in the Quarter and buy yourself a bubble bath bar. They will also give you free samples with a purchase. Then come home and relax with a bubble bath made for Beyoncé. I will definitely return, I'm thinking about next weekend, LOL!"

  • 100% happy!

"Stay with a small group of 6 girls- the sofa bed is so comfy we all wanted to sleep on it. The condo is nicely updated and roomy- with towels for each of us. The whole "complex" is adorable with the gate and walk thru gas lanterns, to the pool area surrounded by a mini tropical jungle. We had the best time and Earnest was so hospitable and flexible, not to mention quick to reply. We hardly needed anything, it was already there for us. The location is perfect, central to everything, yet some how super quiet! Can't wait to book my next trip, and I've already told some friends! Thanks again!"

  • Fantastic Rental!

"My family and I recently stayed at this vacation rental, what a great location! It was easy booking and the person who booked us was fantastic. Once I was given the information for the house, I contacted the property manager. He called me back within a few hours to explain the check-in process and describe the house. This place is huge! My husband and I brought our 3 kids (all under 8) down for 3 weeks. I had read all the reviews and almost all of them were great so I was hopeful the house would live up to the previous reviews. And it did! The place was clean and well set up. The beds were all new, the kitchen was spotless and bathrooms were well stocked. The fridge did not have creamer or snacks (as per a recent reviewer who complained the owners did provide food) but as per my experience, places do not usually have food. This is something you bring on your own. There are several stores nearby plus a local co-op that has everything! The internet worked great, and this was important since both of us were working while here. The internet worked great but was spotty at times in the back bedroom. This wasn’t a huge issue since connection in the kitchen/dining room and upstairs was really fast. The kids all stayed upstairs on the futon and in the second bedroom. The adjacent bath was great; a bit older but worked quite well. Plenty of towels, blankets and sheets to go around! The stairs seem to be original but our 3-year-old managed like a pro! The living room was quite clean, tidy and smelled freshly laundered. The neighborhood is quite eccentric with a cooking school on the corner and stables across the street. I read a few reviews that said the stables were undesirable but in my opinion, they keep the street safer. They always had lights on with activity on the stable grounds all throughout the night! There are several awesome restaurants all within walking distance (Praline Connection, Horn’s, Buffa’s, for example). It took my kids about 10 minutes to walk to the French quarter (roughly 3-4 blocks depending on your direction). There is a new kid/dog park as soon as you walk into the FQ, it provided hours of fun!! Live music at the Spotted Cat was worth the 5-minute walk! All in all, we had a wonderful trip and cannot wait to do this again next year! Things to remember, New Orleans is funky, old and unique. Nothing is cookie-cutter which is what makes it great! Things may be a bit different but enjoy it!"

  • Great House, Great Location

"We've been coming to NOLA for Jazz Fest for the past nine years. This was our first time visiting in August and the first time staying in this section of the city. What a great location! Easy access to Frenchmen Street and the Quarter. Very walkable. As for the house, the photo's don't do it justice. It is much nicer and larger than it appears in the photo's. Larry was great to deal with: very responsive. We liked the place so much that we contemplated giving it a bad review to improve the chances that it would be available next time we visit NOLA."
