  • Authentic charm

"The property was gorgeous, accessibility to the quarter and Frenchmen street were exactly what we were looking for. Jesse was available by text whenever we had a question about the property itself. We had a special party of 10, and he worked with us for pricing. It was one of the best vacations of our lives. Could not imagine a better stay!"

  • Best 50th Birthday Ever!

"Our group of 7 stayed here to celebrate my 50th birthday. We could not have asked for anything more perfect, not one person had a single complaint. The house is spotless, the renovations are great and we all fit comfortably with room to spare! The location is amazing, walking distance to everything. Watching street performers from the balcony was just the cherry on top! Geoff is so nice, very helpful, responds to messages in lightning speed and made us all feel welcome to the Big Easy. After 6 days, none of us wanted to leave, so that should tell you something. This place rocks! Don't miss The Maison on Frenchman for Sunday brunch...the Bloody Marys are out of this world!"

  • Stay at this House!

"I cannot say enough about how much we loved this house. It is the most beautifully unique, artistic, eclectic New Orleans spot I've seen...a real work of art. We've been to NOLA a number of times, but this was where we had the most authentic New Orleans experience. The Bywater district is in "transition", which means you get a little bit of everything: trendy coffee shops and hip bars just a five minute walk away, colorful neighbors, hole-in-the-wall corner stores, newly renovated homes adjacent to those long forgotten...all beautiful and perfect in their own way. Marie and Raphael were fantastic hosts, and their home so lovely, that we were more than happy to skip the Quarter, and the Garden District, our first day there and spend the afternoon at "home", listening to jazz and watching the rain. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a neighborhood rich in culture, a home full of charm and individuality, and a convenient location. Everything to do or see in the city is a quick walk, drive or trolley ride away. Sidenote: Raphael is a fantastic musician! Be sure to ask to hear a sample while you're there."

  • Beautifully appointed home in a fantastic neighborhood

"Upon entering the house, we were very impressed with how much bigger it seemed than the pictures! The space is decorated festively but without too much. It's walking distance to great restaurants, we loved Slim Goodies and The Rum House, which were both an easy walking distance. Everything else we wanted to do that wasn't within walking distance was an easy uber ride (about $10 to French Quarter). There were plenty of towels, blankets, etc. and a very nice backyard with a patio set and front porch with a smaller table and chairs to enjoy the weather. We did have one issue, which the owner was very quick to respond to and resolve, so we are happy for that. The home is in a very neighborhood-y feeling area, so if that's what you are looking for, this is a great choice."
