  • A taste of old New Orleans

"This creole cottage is ideal for a stay in New Orleans. It's wonderful to stay in a neighbourhood with full time residents and still be so close to all the sights and places you want to see in the French Quarter and on Frenchman street. The house has lots of space -so much more than any hotel can offer and lots more conveniences as well. The bathroom arrangement is a little odd as you have to pass through one bedroom to enter it. So sharing this accommodation is best done with people who aren't overly uptight about privacy. It's a lovely and charming place and I will stay again if I get the chance to return."

  • Divine. Perfect. Heaven! I love this house and had to be dragged from it forcibly.

"We did a three-generation Christmas here, and storybook-perfect doesn't even begin to describe this house. It's exactly as awesome as it looks in the photos - and moreso, if you can think that possible - tremendous, historic, modern and cozy all at the same time. Jamie had a fresh tree set up for us, with a big box of decorations and a bag of lights by its side. We played carols through the sound system and trimmed the tree, cooked a giant holiday dinner, ate in the stately dining room, all with streetcars rattling by in front of the house. The stop was right in front, making it ridiculously easy to get where you want to go. The beds were so comfortable, the linens so soft and cozy, and my favorite part of all was the balcony over St. Charles. This would be the PERFECT place for Mardi Gras; beads from the ghosts of Mardi Gras past hang from the trees out front. I am right now trying to convince my friends to grab what I hear is a Mardi Gras cancellation!"

  • Breathtaking House and Gardens

"I wasn't sure what to expect upon our arrival for our stay at this home - the pictures shown are very pretty but in person it's so much more and magical. There were 8 in our group and this house slept all of us easily with room leftover. Michelle had stocked the house with the essentials to get you through until you could go shopping if you planned on cooking at the house which we did and took full advantage of the outside grill cooking steaks, scallops, etc. She even had a bottle of red wine on hand and extra charcoal delivered to us at no charge which shows she goes above and beyond. We enjoyed the outside Gazebo for our dinner and it was simply amazing and quite memorable having dinner with good friends under the sparkling lights and the whole garden area (especially at night) was like something out of a fairytale book. It was extremely helpful being close to everything so if you ran out of something you could simply walk half a block to get ice, beer, etc. and Cooter Browns Bar is also just half a block away which had great food. The streetcar was so fun to take to Bourbon Street or other very cool bars along the way (Blind Pelican being one) with everyone and extremely affordable - not to mention it is the longest of New Orleans' streetcar lines, the St. Charles Avenue line, is the oldest continuously operating street railway system in the world with it appears to be original cars. Thanks Michelle and to all of your staff for making amazing memories for my friends and myself. Would love to come back again."

  • Great house with comfortable amenities

"Lovely uptown NOLA home in quiet neighborhood. High ceilings, hardwood floors and lots of windows add to the appeal. Each comfortable bedroom (3) has a private bath attached. Charming backyard where you can put your feet up and relax after a busy day of touring. Walking distance to Whole Foods and other stores on Magazine Street a plus. Would love to stay longer......"
