  • Impeccable Cottage

"My husband and our two daughters (ages 3 and 5) stayed here for a week in the end of June. We wanted a quiet comfortable spot to relax and explore the Maine Coast and found exactly that. The owners' decor and attention to details for its guests - of all ages - is impeccable. Our daughters spent every morning looking for sea glass on the beach, just steps away from the cottage. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises on the deck and relaxing and reading on the cozy furniture in the evening. Brooklin, Maine is a great location for exploring the many Down East towns, it was easy to get to Bar Harbor/Acadia, Deer Isle and Blue Hill from our central location. We felt incredibly at home and comfortable in the house and look forward to returning in future years."

  • Very Relaxing

"Enjoyed the cottage and our relaxing time. Weather wasexceptional, really enjoyed watching the ducks out in the bay. It was chilly, but cottage had a fireplace kept us warm and cozy. Plenty to see and do in area, Schoodic Peninsula nearby and worth a few hours towatch"

  • Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic Maine home.

"Our family of 4 and another family of 4 shared this home for the last week. I cannot put into words how wonderful this home is. The pictures, as beautiful as they are, do not do the home justice. Driving into the driveway, after a long flight, we were welcomed with an incredibly beautiful home, that is so peaceful and comfortable to live in. The kitchen was perfect for food preparation, the bathroom and bedroom layout was fantastic, the dining was spacious for 8 of us, but could easily fit another 2 or maybe even 4? However, the best part of the room is that sunroom that overlooks the water. Drinking coffee there in the morning was the most peaceful part of my day, perhaps the most peaceful part of my year! The kids enjoyed heading to the water at low tide, picking up dozens of mussels which we enjoyed every evening. We loved the home and will definitely stay there when we come back."

  • Convenient & comfortable

"We stayed for a week ( I wish it was longer) -5 adults and 2 children. It was very comfortable. House is very beautifully furnished and has everything you'll need while there. It is very clean and well-maintained. Location is perfect - walking distance to town. Alan is very helpful & atentive. You can call him anytime with questions. We had a great time in Acadia - hiking, biking, blueberry picking & good eating. Good dinners at Eat-a-Pita, Rogue & Sips. Lobster at Beals. We'll definetly stay at this house again."
