  • Our Stay

"We had a wonderful time at the camp. LOVED the views, great deck, screened in porch, the water was perfect temps, clean (no mucky side), private, couldn't see the neighbors, perfect for kayaking, canoeing. Kitchen had everything, just need a bit more counter space, but don't we all. Would awaken to loons calling each morning. Would love to return. Cindy was wonderfully attentive to our emails and needs. Accessed canoe through the Activity Shop-recommend."

  • A wonderful getaway cottage

"This house is great if you want peace and quiet, but yet it is close to area attractions. We have stayed here several times due to proximity to Acadia National Park and easy access to the coast to the north and south. We love the setting, on the water, and the peace and quiet, being set back and shrouded by trees. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well supplied with amenities for daily living. The wifi and cable tv are nice additions. We enjoyed watching wild turkeys stroll through the yard and seeing loons and herons on the water. With an outstanding view and comfortable beds, this place is hard to beat. Very comfortable."

  • Beautiful home!

"Perfect space, with 3 distinct floors for privacy but an amazing wrap around porch for lounging. Steps to a beautiful rocky Maine beach, and short drive to Acadia for hikes. Absolutely beautiful."

  • Perfect!

"We (four adults) enjoyed our stay at the Beach Glass Cottage! We were there just before the tourist season and it was very private and quiet. Most importantly....the beds and bedding were wonderful, we all had great nights sleep. The cottage is far enough from Bar Harbor to avoid the traffic, but a short ride or even shorter ferry ride from Winter Harbor. Don't miss Chester Pikes for breakfast or lunch, excellent home cooked meals and delicious baked goods. I was a bit nervous about renting via HomeAway, but no worries...everything was perfect! Thank you Peter and Kathy for the use of your lovely home."
