  • A serene and luxurious setting from which you can enjoy the beauty and activities of the area

"The immaculate home is beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishing and a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Spacious; with multiple places to read, dine, watch TV, listen to music or just "vegetate" while enjoying the airy view from inside or outside the house. It is well located with easy access to Acadia, village shopping and dining and all area activities. The Chases are gracious and helpfully In welcoming you to their delightful home"

  • Enjoyed our stay!

"Clean, cozy home in secluded area with beautiful views. This home was perfect for my family of four and was close enough to Acadia NP and other attractions. Thank you Sarah and Michael!"

  • Everything we hoped for and more

"Great view. The chairs were put to good use watching the tide come in and out and watching the full moon rise over the trees and water. The house was in excellent shape and very comfortable. Everything you need is provided. Extras included maps and brochures to help you plan your week. Very quiet and away from the crowds, but an easy drive to get to Acadia and Bar Harbor area. Enjoyed the hiking in Acadia National Park. There is something for everyone."

  • Lovely cottage on private lot

"What a nice place to stay for a week! The cottage is on a very private lot right next to a bay. We loved Lamoine...the town that the cottage is in. There is a small park, Coleman Woods, right down the road from the cottage which is perfect for a quiet walk through the woods. We went to Marlborough Beach to walk in the ocean and to Bloomfield Park on Asa Road to swim in a wonderful pond. We watched the seals on the rock ledges in the bay in front of the cottage, and a porcupine wander through the yard. (He was very non-aggressive but we still kept an eye on our dog....) There was a Bald Eagle feasting on some mystery meat about 20 yards from the road near the cottage. We had delicious pizza from the Seal Cove Goat Farm. The cottage is well equipped, modern, and very clean. (Bring your own soaps and cooking spices!) People have mentioned that you can't see very much of the bay, but the trees keep the cottage cool. I carried a chair down to the edge of the woods to watch the water. This is on the bay so no actual beaches to sit on but there are beaches available very near by. If you have bikes bring them as there are many places in the area to ride, either on bike paths road in Acadia National Park, or in Lamoine where traffic is very mild. The cottage is located close to Ellsworth and Bar Harbor but not on top of the congestion. It is also easy to get to Schoodic Point...the northern section of Acadia National Park! We love the Schoodic Point section of Acadia. A treasure all by itself. We hiked and picked wild blueberries until our teeth were blue! The week zipped by way to quickly!"
