  • Great cottage with perfect location.

"Myself and my husband along with our adult children enjoyed staying at the Blue Rose Cottage. The owners provide everything needed for a carefree, relaxing vacation. They are extremely responsive to any and all questions, requests or needs and go above and beyond to make their cottage comfortable. The location is ideal for a walk in-town to restaurants, stores and a beautiful stroll along the shore. Aside from drives to the park, our cars hardly moved. There is a nice front yard with a fire pit that we used often. Thank you very much for providing us with what we needed for a wonderful vacation."

  • Great stay at the Spindrift Cottage

"I needed to be in town for 3 nights with my son, his fiance and her parents to take care of some wedding preparations. Spindrift cottage was perfect for us! I stayed on the third floor which was new, beautiful and clean. The entire third floor is like a suite with a beautiful bathroom, a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a large living area with a sofa bed, a day bed and a table with 2 chairs (also a tv). It is decorated beautifully in the Baa Habaa style. The outside of the house is also beautiful. The 3 bedrooms and one bath on the second floor are beautiful and clean. The first floor with office/entrance came in very handy for the bride's dad when he had to get wok done and the adjacent kitchen was very adequate. We were missing a wine opener and some sponges upon a late night arrival but Sherry had them for me the next morning bright and early. There is a 6 seat dining room which is very nice and opens up to the living room which has 2 couches and a chair. There are plenty of books and games for kids of all ages and a cute little patio with a table and 4 chairs and a grill. The location is excellent! We walked into town every day. The location, the house and the attentive service were all great, I would definitely stay at the Spindrift Cottage again!"

  • Great little Cottage

"My 2 little Yorkshire terriers and I stayed here for a week....we just got home yesterday. I have no complaints. The house was built in the 40's and has retained a lot of the charm of a cottage from that era. It is clean and comfortable and is walking distance to town by only a few blocks. Several great restaurants are within that walk to town too. Acadia National Park is less than a 10 minute drive. The free shuttles weren't running yet for the most part during my stay....they start on the 23rd of June. But once they are there's no need to even take your car out of the drive-way. My week's vacation consisted of hiking the many trails and summiting a few of the mountains of Acadia and biking the Carriage Roads. I will be making this an annual visit and will look forward to booking this house again next year.....if not sooner."

  • Perfect Location!

"Having never been to Bar Harbor before, we were a bit uncertain as to whether we should stay downtown or in the woods somewhere, since we expected this to be a very outdoorsy trip. As a young couple (late twenties), we couldn't have ended up happier with the location of this apartment. It is a minutes walk from all of the great restaurants, shops, bars and other attractions in Bar Harbor while still being a bit tucked away on what was definitely a more quiet street in the town. It has parking so it was great to be able to walk downtown to go out to dinner without worrying about where to park your car and dealing with that stress. We could get anywhere from here in minutes! It is also right off the shore path, which was great for talking runs and walks -- such a beautiful place to get an evening run in -- breath taking views. We also enjoyed how close it was to the farmer's market. We could drive to and be at almost any location in the park in just a few minutes too (after picking up coffee and a pastry at the bakery next door). The apartment itself is as described. It was basic, but had everything we needed and was very clean. The owners are very sweet and responded to a question we had but gave us our privacy. I thought it was sweet they even sent us a Christmas card! We made many fun memories on this trip and we really look forward to coming back sooner than later! We would definitely recommend this apartment and Bar Harbor."
