                                              The cottage was adequately furnished. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was set up for cooking, with even a lobster pot! The cottage itself was close to the ocean, yet it was tucked away on a quiet street making it possible to get away from the crowds. Peter was available if there were ever any problems or questions to be answered. He also had information about Mt. Desert Island in the house that made it easy to plan day trips around Acadia. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

                                              Great place to stay

                                              We had a great stay in the cottage. Lots of room for the 3 of us (couple with a 5 yr old). Clean and had all of the essentials. Kitchen was well equipped and great for making our own meals when we didn't want to eat out, including breakfast, local seafood and grilling- convenient and saved us a lot. Nice to have our own garage for parking and a washer and dryer so we didn't have to pack a week's worth of clothes. Huge master bedroom with a smaller kids room off the master worked well for us and the beds were comfortable. Having the only bathroom downstairs wasn't a big deal. Close to downtown so that we could walk into town and avoid the traffic and hassle of staying downtown. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
