  • Relax and enjoy it all

"This was our first visit to Lookout Way and As soon as you pull up to the house, you know it's your home away. The outside with the little front yard shaded by the big maple tree, chairs and barbecue just invite you in. Inside, the charming furnishings, little antiques, with all the modern amenities right alongside. They provide everything you need, but it's just a short distance to "town" for groceries and a couple of great restraunts. Acadia National Park is everywhere and there are so many ways to see it. A boat trip out of the harbor was a special treat. We visited Bar Harbor, but have to say I totally prefer Northeast Harbor, much quieter, still scenic and a nice Main Street area. Asticou Inn has amazing food, especially with the famous Jordan Pond Inn popovers now available there! I hope we can return to this gem of a place very soon."

  • Convenient Home away from Home

"Very clean home, 2- story, with kitchen/laundry facilities downstairs, and bedrooms /living area up. Convenient to shops, restaurants in quaint village of NE Harbor. Nice view of harbor from living area. Easy check-in/check-out. With rental car, we enjoyed being close to Bar Harbor (15-20 minute drive), without being in the midst of all its traffic/activity. For gourmet dining, The Fork and Table is a 4-minute walk. The Asticou Inn (across the harbor) is a 5-minute drive, with a good restaurant and gardens. Other casual restaurants are a 2-3 minute walk. Early-mid October is an excellent time to visit, for Acadia and spectacular colors, though a few businesses are already closed for the winter by then."

  • Beautiful, comfortable home with amazing views

"Our family (including 3 boys, ages 16, 14 and 11) loved Reath Rock and the surrounding area! The home was very comfortable, spacious and very we'll equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the spectacular views from the deck before and after we explored the various hiking trails during the day. The home was conveniently located to many areas of interest on the island, so it didn't take long to return to Reath Rock to relax following our adventures. Many nights we played board games, cards and cribbage. We made many special memories during our stay which made it very difficult to leave. We hope to visit again someday. Thank you for sharing your special home with others!"
