  • Perfect location for MDI

"My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. The location was perfect for exploring the island. The neighborhood was quiet and a short walk to the store at the end of the street. Kevin was easy to work with and we had no issues. All details of the rental were accurate and we received our deposit shortly after our stay. If we are ever in the area we would definitely stay here again."

  • Cozy Little Cottage

"We just returned from a week's stay at Sheridy's cottage and it was the perfect getaway. The location is just a few miles out of Bar Harbor but very convenient to in-town restaurants and shops as well as Acadia hiking trails. The cottage is modestly furnished but fulfills most every need. The washer/dryer alone is worth Five Stars! We especially enjoyed building a fire every night in the backyard fire pit and taking a 15 minute walk to the most beautiful ocean view at Acadia in the mornings."

  • Best decision we made, was perfect!!!!

"We were more than pleased with choosing this beautiful home. We felt completely comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. There were 9 of us staying there and 2 family members who visited everyday. Angie and Chris have a beautiful home, it is very clean and well maintained. We cooked and/or grilled everyday, what fun with the family....The kids could play on the tree swings or just run around the yard, no worries. It was very easy access to all of the activities we like to do when we are in Bar Harbor, from going into Bar Harbor to shop, going to a water activity or going hiking. Some of our family hiked Gorham Mountain which is the view from the deck. Once they reached the top, they let us know, we couldn't see them for sure, but we reflected our I-Pad off the sun and they could see us, it was very exciting. We just love coming to Bar Harbor, now we know we have a home there, we can't wait for 2018. Thank you Angie and Chris for such a wonderful week. We will see you in two years... Kathy and family"

  • Perfect House for a great stay!

"The house is perfectly located. Less than 5 minutes to the hustle and bustle of down town Bar Harbor and less than a 5 minute walk to a trail to climb Cadillac Mountain made this the ideal spot for us. The house is very clean, nicely decorated and very cozy for relaxing in the evenings. Beds are nice and comfortable. Views of the mountains from the windows are a very nice touch, and if you hit the blueberry season right, there were so many blueberry bushes in the front garden for picking fresh blueberries. Another nice thing is there is a small general store (primarily for campers and locals) that is a two minute walk where you can get most of your eating and drinking necessities without having to make it a special trip (if you want to do a full shopping for a week's stay, you may want to go to the grocery store in Bar Harbor, but the little store is nice to have so close by for eggs, snacks, drinks, etc). If it is your first time visiting Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park, the owners have put together a book that offers suggestions for hikes, restaurants, day trips, etc that they have enjoyed themselves with tips on finding some hidden favorite trails - nice personal touch. Overall, I would definitely recommend this house for your visit to Bar Harbor/Acadia and we hope to come back for another stay."
