  • Good family reunion home.

"Our family of grandparents, adult children and grandchildren had a very nice time in this home for 10 days in August. Sleeping space was good, although there are no blinds so we made a makeshift curtain for the kids' room to keep out morning sun. We all had fun with the kayaks and swimming from the dock. However it was further away from the house than we anticipated- down the road and then down a path so not at all visible from the house. We made trips to Boothbay Harbor for the puffin boat trip, lighthouses, aquarium. Plenty to do and see from this location. We cooked all our meals in the roomy kitchen."

  • Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic Maine home.

"Our family of 4 and another family of 4 shared this home for the last week. I cannot put into words how wonderful this home is. The pictures, as beautiful as they are, do not do the home justice. Driving into the driveway, after a long flight, we were welcomed with an incredibly beautiful home, that is so peaceful and comfortable to live in. The kitchen was perfect for food preparation, the bathroom and bedroom layout was fantastic, the dining was spacious for 8 of us, but could easily fit another 2 or maybe even 4? However, the best part of the room is that sunroom that overlooks the water. Drinking coffee there in the morning was the most peaceful part of my day, perhaps the most peaceful part of my year! The kids enjoyed heading to the water at low tide, picking up dozens of mussels which we enjoyed every evening. We loved the home and will definitely stay there when we come back."

  • Great for a large family

"Willowbrook was a wonderful home for our family of 16. It is an old house; so, of course it has some doors and windows that creak and open unexpectedly as well as some ceilings that are very low. But, it is large, beautiful, has a great big yard, is in a very accessible location, and has all we needed in our week there. I definitely would stay at Willowbrook again as well as recommend it to others."
