  • Amazing spot for a family getaway!

"We booked this house for a Fall Break getaway, with three families meeting in Northern Maine. From the first moment we saw the house, after driving a winding dirt road back into the ocean dunes, we were smitten. The decor is lovely and simple, the bunk room was spectacular and created a much-needed getaway for our boys ages 6-14. We could not get enough of coffee on the deck in the morning where we spotted harbor seals, a porpoise, and even a bald eagle flying over the property. We took advantage of the fire pit near the oceanside most evenings. And enjoyed local restaurants as well as a few trips to Acadia. The only downside was there is no wi-fi; this created an issue for a couple of us who needed to do work while staying at the house and the local bar wasn't too friendly about having us sit there to use their wifi... but overall we loved the house and the atmosphere and highly recommend!"

  • Great relaxing vacation in Maine

"This was our first trip to Maine and we loved it! The A-frame cabin has everything you need for a great stay. Clean, comfortable bed, and great views. Sunrises are spectacular. Kitchen is well equipped and everything is there to prepare whole Maine lobster or any other meal of your choice. This is for guests who appreciate the great outdoors and want to get away from the city. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are less than an hour away. Local lobster fisherman work their traps in front of the cabin, and you can purchase live lobsters from local fishermen for $5.25-$9.00 a pound. Twelve foot tides change the scenery everyday. We plan to return again next year. Scott is helpful and knowledgeable of the area. He can share more ideas of what to see and do than what you can accomplish in one week."

  • Cool 1930's cottage right by thr harbor.

"We certainly enjoyed our stay here. We came for a week in October to hike the Acadia trails and enjoy the Fall foliage. Southwest Harbor has so much charm and is much less crowded than Bar Harbor. The cottage was well equipped with whatever you might need for your vacation. I loved the sleeping porches though it was too cold to use in Oct. I definately would stay here again."

  • Beautiful Oceanfront Mansion with magnificent views of Bar Harbor and Cadillac Mountain

"Beautiful home with views of Bar Harbor. Its what you think Maine should be. Huge home with nice furnishings and top shelf appliances and granite counter tops. Lobster boats pull up next door and you can buy lobsters directly from them. We had an awesome time going to Acacia National Park, Cadillac Mountain, Bar Harbor. Huge yard and firepits and an enormous dock if you bring your boat. Wish we could live here always!"
