  • Great Place to stay and relax.

"First,of all it's a great location. It's very quite there and away from a very busy Bar Harbor. But, you are only 4 miles from Bar Harbor. The house has everything you would possibly need and more. If you like to cook like I do, Karen has a well furnish kitchen. My husband and I were more than happy there for a week. It was very cozy and comfortable. Everything on her web page is exactly the way the house is. Karen lives next door but, she never bother you unless you need something. Karen takes pride in her cottage it was very clean and well stocked. We would highly recommend this cottage for a get away time. Thanks so much Karen, Stephen and Sherri Bartlett"

  • Maine Miracle

"Beachwalk was exactly what we needed and more than we expected. It would be hard to pick a favorite thing about our stay because we loved so much. We were a group of 4 active adults and dog and the location gave us everything we needed, along with more stunning beauty than we could imagine. The pictures are completely accurate--the house is spacious and the view is amazing. Each morning we each did our own thing in lovely Sorrento--biking, running, walking-then moved on to our exploration. Acadia was close enough to be convenient, but far enough to be away from the loads of visitors. We kayaked, walked, read books staring out at the view. We ate all of our dinners in and can honestly say there wasn't a single thing we could have asked for in the kitchen as every need is provided for. The rest of the house was well stocked, with a particularly interesting selection of books. The owners were incredibly responsive to my (many) questions, going so far as to recommend a couple of area potters to visit. The residents of Sorrento were some of the most friendly people we have ever met. We could not have asked for more and will be back."

  • Private haven

"We completely enjoyed our stay in this comfy cottage, overlooking a private cove. It was fascinating watching the tides go in and out, seeing golden sunsets and listening to birds calling. The cottage was very neat and clean, with everything we needed for a fun, relaxing week. The setting was so peaceful and secluded, yet within driving distance of so many interesting places to explore. The owners were very accommodating, with helpful ideas about the area. We can't wait to come back!"

  • Great spot to get away and relax!

"Perfect camp for family to enjoy all aspects nature. Beautiful clear lake, our family enjoyed fishing, canoeing, catching tadpoles/frogs in addition to campfires and cookouts. Wood stove was great addition for the rainy days and the only downside we had was that the mattresses were too soft/springy for our liking. Otherwise everything provided that we needed for our entire stay, and local store available in Eastbrook for when we didn't want to drive into Ellsworth! Loved the fact that the other cabin is close so that we could have friends or extended family vacation with us too!! Thanks Michelle for everything! We enjoyed our stay tremendously!"
