Vacation rentals near Acadia National Park's Visitors Center

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this property. The location was great as it is walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. The room was very clean and quiet. Our host was wonderful and made our stay very pleasant. We highly recommend if visiting Bar Harbor.

We had theee days to visit Acadia National Park. This place is right in the middle of the park. Clean, comfortable, good knives and adequate cutting boards - a true test of a good place to stay!

The layout and location of the house could not be better. The house is well-stocked with a beautiful area for everyone to visit and dine and enjoy the views. The bedrooms give great privacy and space for quiet times. All bedrooms have ocean views. The location right across the road from Acadia Park is ideal. I would highly recommend the property to any family or friends going to the area.

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay during our visit to the Northeastern shore of Maine! Everything about the place was first class, starting with John, the owner! He formally greeted us and helped us carry our luggage to our phenomenal retreat in the woods overlooking the beauty of his land and the ocean in the near distance! This was a short drive to Bar Harbor and many other scenic towns and Acadia National Forest! We were here 6 nites and utilized every minute of our time to enjoy the sites, the hiking, the FOOD and great place to stay. I could go on and on about be! I want to thank John again for the welcoming basket of treats, and the fabulous and very informative boat ride! AND, I can’t forget our “official” BRANDY the dog! It made us want to find a dog just like her! Thanks again, John for everything!

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Bar Harbor. It had everything we needed! It was extremely clean and so adorable. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions. We could walk to restaurants and shops in Bar Harbor. We thoroughly enjoyed going to Acadia National Park as well. What a very special place!

Owners were right there to greet us as we arrived and communication was excellent. Cottage was immaculately clean. Owners thought of every little thing needed for guests better than any VRBO I've stayed at in the past. Everything in Bar Harbor was an easy walk from the cottage and we all slept like babies in comfort and silence. We had a great week, thank you

Great place to stay; on the last night of our stay a bad storm came through and neighborhood lost power but property had a generator that automatically started and power entire house.

We just spent two weeks at Cyd and Ken’s wonderful place! They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Their place is beautifully decorated (including fresh flowers) and warm and cozy. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, fireplace, comfortable furnishings and great internet access. Trails into town and to Acadia are accessible from their property - quite a treat! They are very responsive to questions/requests. A perfect vacation (thanks Cyd and Ken)!
