  • Great Property for the Family and Friends

"Nice cottage with all the amenities. This is our third time there and will be back in the future. Close to the coast but away from the tourist traps. great support from the care takers with quite a few things on the property to take advantage of for kids or adults. A nice big fire pit if you want to enjoy it in the evening."

  • Wonderful Log Cabin

"We stayed at the log cabin to be able to spend some time with our college age daughter on her days off from a nearby summer camp where she is a counselor. To say we were impressed is an understatement! Kathie has done an amazing job with this cabin from its immaculate appearance to the charm of the decor. A real treat tucked away in the Maine woods. It felt so cozy and home like. We took several day trips to explore the beauty of Maine and always felt relaxed pulling up at the end of the day. It was very close to the camp where my daughter works so it was perfect to meet her during her times off. All in all, we loved the log cabin and would love to stay again. Kathie is a wonderful person who emailed promptly with great information about the area and answers to any questions I had. Everything was perfect and homey and in perfect working order! Thank you for a wonderful stay in the great state of Maine!"

  • Nice place for a first-time visit to Maine

"I've been coming to Maine for over 30 years with my husband to visit his family. This year, I brought my brother and his family---first timers. Mind you, they are not campers; can't stand bugs; and don't like the "rustic". They loved it! The house is roomy, comfortable, beautiful and the kitchen is well- stocked. The lake is beautiful also. My family was so excited to see an Eagle, Osprey, and the Loons---they were there every morning(and the girls were fascinated by them). Scott and Lisa provide wood for the fire pit (very cool) and they have three kayaks which was also a first-time experience for my family. They went out on the lake (which is pretty calm) almost every day. The location is not bad for particular points of interest i.e. Portland, Freeport, and Popham Beach. Great restaurants are in Hallowell, Agusta, and other places as pointed out by Scott and Lisa. Scott was easy to work with from the beginning. He always responded to my texts and e-mails. He was there to greet us and give us a helpful tour and he also returned our deposit (with a shirt I left behind) within a day. Loved it!"

  • PERFECT PEACEFUL GETAWAY

"Our best family vacation yet. We enjoyed an August/Sept week with our family of four, including 2 tween daughters, as well as a Grandfather and Uncle along with us. Even with 6 of us, the house was never crowded. We spent almost everyday kayaking, swimming in the lake, and playing in the yard. We also rented a pontoon boat from Collins Boat Rental for a few days to explore the lake and go tubing. The lake was so peaceful. We all really enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and the call of the loons. We even got to see the bald eagles soar by after roosting on the islands. This beautiful home exceeded our expectations and had everything you could ever want. By far the best property on the lake!"
